Im a SAHM too and I was going berzerk eating so many sweets and junk foods every day. I've been gaining since a few weeks after I had my baby. I've cut out the sweets and noticed a difference right away. I'm still eating over 2000 calories a day usually and some days I feel hungry still but it's getting better. I've only been at it for about 5 days.

I have the same problem! This time around (3rd) at first I was worried I wasn't getting enough to eat. Honestly I just did not feel that hungry. I was content with 3 meals a day and very rarely felt the need to snack. Then all of a sudden it hit me and I felt like no matter what I ate I was still hungry or did not feel full for long. My diet varies from day to day and some foods do make me feel fuller quicker and slightly longer than others, but they are mostly heavy dinner styled foods. :/

My guess is we are missing something in our diets and our bodies are asking for it. I guess I better pay closer attention to what I am eating and what works vs what doesn't.

Good luck!

I had the opposite problem. But on the few days I was hungry, I would eat 6 small meals a day, or "graze" all day if you will. I would be sure to eat higher protein & higher good fat foods like Greek yogurt & almonds. Good luck :)

At the moment I am a stay at home mother with a 2 month old and a 6 year old. I am just now starting to track my food again to see where I can improve my diet (it needs a lot of improvement!) and am starting to exercise again. I am having a horrible time with always being hungry! It's like I can't get enough food. Just trying to get feedback on what other breast feeding moms are doing to help with hunger!! Thanks for any help you can give me!
