After open heart surgery I have to take baby steps to get my heart strong again.

Sunday - did a flight of stairs
Monday - placed laundry in the washer and dryer. Can’t lift the basket though.
Tuesday - cleaned out dead flowers from my bouquetes
Wednesday - made a vegetable tray
Thursday - light dusting
Friday -
Saturday

Most of us tend to do the same workout, day after day … and never venture out of our “COMFORT ZONE.” Then we hit a wall, the scale stops moving, and we're in that dreaded plateau. We’ve all been there!

Your challenge this week is to switch up your strength training and/or cardio workouts. The fitness experts say we need to get out of our “COMFORT ZONE” . . . to spark our metabolism and challenge our muscles differently (to increase growth of lean muscle).

You can either change up what type of cardio you do, or do intervals on your regular cardio machine, or add extra weight to your strength training routine ... or you can try something totally new!

Copy & paste the days of the week, and then come back here daily, to post what you did to get out of your “COMFORT ZONE.” (or post an emoticon if you were successful)
