Today feels like a better day. I didn't track food, but had reasonable portions and I made it to the gym. It was a quick workout since I had to go back and pick the kid up, but it would have been so easy to say "oh, I just can't fit it in today" and I didn't. I did have to send two "your kid cheated" emails today. It's so hard to think of nice ways to say that. I'm sure I'll have angry parents in my room tomorrow - somehow it'll be all my fault.

My week was garbage, too!

The weekend was the worst. Although I actually did some exercising, I totally blew calories off the grid!

This past week was total garbage!

I have my workouts and meals lined up this week so maybe I'll be an actual adult and get my fat rear in gear!

We all had a less than stellar week it sounds like. I had one bad day food wise that turned into a whole week of junkfood. I missed 2 workouts because of bad weather, and cut another one short b/c a lady at the gym made me mad so I left before I confronted her over something stupid. I was super grouchy and that just showed me how much. Yesterday I took kids to a knowledge bowl 2 hours away and the road were awful. It took us almost 3 hours to get there and it was white knuckle driving the whole way. If I'd known how bad the roads were I would have cancelled. I told the kids next time if there is so much as 1 flake of snow in the air we're not going. When I finally got home it was snowing hard here and I didn't even want to drive a couple miles to the gym. I was asleep on the couch at like 7 o'clock.

Melissa - I hope both kids are feeling better now and I hope the therapist helps. I haven't gone to a wedding in a long time but I'm starting to worry about finding something to wear for graduation in May.

Renee - I hope this week is easier at work

Let's all make this week a better week. We can't control everything but we can make what we can control better.

Girl, I feel the same way! I have got to get it in order or I am going to be a diabetic!

Perhaps next week!

This week has been stressful. Caleb was sick after his endoscopy for a day - just really nauseated. Atticus is sick again.

I cannot get my act together.

The therapy appointment could not come fast enough!

I have a wedding to go to and I cannot fit into anything! ARRRGGGGHHHHH!

Yesterday was a crappy day.
Barely any water, ate tons, calories and carbs way off the scale, no exercise again, court day. Geez, it felt like a Monday, lol. TGIF

I'm not going to ever see any progress like this. Something's gotta give. Either my metabolism has to step up on its own or I need better willpower and determination.

Melissa, hope the therapist is helpful!

Anne, Hang in there, your 4 day week is soon! :)

I'm glad you are seeing the therapist next week. If it makes you happy, it makes me happy.

Off to work. Last day with kids for the week since we are on a 4 day week. I work 3 Fridays in a row though and it's wearing on my. Last Friday, tomorrow, and next Friday. I've gotten spoiled with this 4 day week.

I know what you mean by missing a workout here and there! It's a slippery slope!

Caleb's appt went ok. His throat isn't as fab as it needs to be. But everything else looks good. Just waiting to get biopsy reports back.

Yesterday was crap. I ate crap. Felt like crap. Topped the night off with a hella bunch of Cheez its. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!!!!!

On the upside, I see a therapist next week! YAY!

I just had my physical and everything was perfect except that I have gained.....20 pounds. Yes, that's right. I am officially Jabba The Hut.

The grumpy wasn't really from the workout skip, although that probably added to it. It was just one of those days. I did make it to class tonight, and then I did something I never thought I'd do. Class was only 40 minutes and all cardio and I felt like I wanted a little strength training. So I was thinking of what I can do at home, and ended up just going to the gym. I'm still not sure it was really me that did that. Except I fell on my @$$ doing lunges and now my wrist hurts - so I know it was totally me.

I don't have to do my annual stuff until August so hopefully I'll show a loss by then. The way I've been eating this week though I'm not so sure. Last week was great, this week... I can't stop shoving junk down my throat.

Melissa - I hope the dr appt went well

Aloha ladies,

I did so great yesterday ate right, drank all my water ... until after supper, I had a second glass of wine, which led to a lot of snacking and yet another glass of wine. I am disgusted with myself and that mess up yielded a near 2 pound gain this morning. (silent scream)

It's been a wicked busy day with customers and trying to get our docket ready for tomorrow. Have I ever mentioned how I hate hate hate court days? If I could just do this work but never have to be in court this job would be so much better.

Anne, sorry about your workout skips, and you're right, the more you skip the easier it is to skip, so just do it! You'll feel good about yourself and not so grumpy. :)

I have a doc appt on the 27th this month... pap and then a mammo. I am DREADING this. I have gained over 10 lbs since I was last there and I'm so embarrassed about that.

Melissa, I hope all is going/went well with your son today! Sending hugs/prayers your way.

I did really well until lunchtime. I ended up skipping my workout since the weather is yucky and I wanted to get home before the roads got bad. Good choice, but I'm still grumpy about it. That makes 2 days in a row which means tomorrow will be even easier to skip. I'm just in a mood tonight. Hopefully I won't be so grumpy tomorrow.

This week my plan is to track and behave!

Also, I threw in a new challenge - Bodygroove. It's a new workout I am doing that talks about self worth. There's a workout each day and a talk before that about self worth and healthy mindset. So I am going to watch the talk video everyday and do the workout everyday except Wednesday. My oldest has an endoscopy that day.

This is our 4th and final week of the tracking challenge and it's the toughest one.

This week, we track everything, and we try to stay in our calories range. Whether you are tracking on paper or spark or some other method - set your calories goals and stick to them.

This week's points (potential victories) come from 3 things:
1. Track everything
2. Stay in your range (not above or below)
3. Choice - you can stick with one of your previous goals or change it up this week

If anyone wants to jump in this week that hasn't participated before, all are welcome. Come join us. It's super simple. If you don't track, choose something else for your goal and let us know what you are working on.

A bonus "yes" each day if you drop by this thread and tell us something about your day. So if you get all yeses and the bonuses you *could* get 28/21 yeses for the week. Kind of like extra credit in school. Stop in and chat with us even if you don't choose to take part in the challenge.
