I'm sorry I did not see your post sooner; keeping you in my prayers and sending emoticon

My name is Shari; I have been a Sparker since July 2006, I am now in hospice care for metastatic breast cancer, but I'm not letting cancer stop me from Sparking!

Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.

Nancy, I can really feel the fear you are experiencing. You are so wise to be scheduling a doctor appointment to get some answers.

As you may know, many of the symptoms you describe can be caused my non-cancerous reasons but you will not know until the tests are completed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with this issue and I pray you receive great news and an easy remedy for your pain and discomfort.

I have Lyme disease - chronic and other parasitic co-infections. I am not well. I have been having abdominal pain and bloating and pelvic pain. I am also having urinary issues. I am 56. I go frequently and barely make it to the bathroom in time- sometimes I don't. In addition I wet the bed last night. This has happened before. I am calling my internist tomorrow for an appt. and think I should probably see a urologist too.

I was reading on the Mayo clinic site and parasitic infections (which Lyme is) can cause bladder inflammation and bladder cancer. I have many of the signs. I am terrified. OMG When they did the abdominal CT scan because of abdominal pain awhile back they saw thickening of the bladder walls which can be malignant but when the urologist did the cystoscope he said it looked o.k. but then again he didn't take a biopsy to make sure.I am terrified. I deal with sooo much on a daily basis just from the lyme and co-infections. I have been thru many other types of biopsies this last year- breast related. I am new to this team, Nancy
