Kay, I had similar treatment almost 10 years ago, the first time I had cancer. I had the AC first and then the Taxotere. I did lose all my hair to the AC, but it actually started growing back while I was on the Taxotere.

Sending up prayers that you get through the AC as well as possible. emoticon

Yesterday, I reached what I consider to be a "milestone" in my breast cancer treatment. I was diagnosed with triple negative (grade 3, stage 2b) breast cancer in late July.

I'm getting neoadjuvant chemotherapy right now. Then I will have surgery and radiation. For the chemo, I am having 12 weekly infusions of taxol and then 4 bi-weekly infusions of AC.

Yesterday, I got my 12th and final taxol infusion! WHOO HOO! All in all, the 12 weeks went pretty smoothly. Amazingly, I still have hair....a lot less than before, but enough to pass for semi-normal in public.

I'm enjoying getting a break just in time for Thanksgiving.

Life is Good!
