Jenn, sounds like you're doing great! Fantastic!

Well, I started off today with a really short bike ride with the hubby. He couldn't keep going, so I'm going to finish my workout on my recumbent at home. I felt bad saying he could turn back and I would keep going since we both just got "real" bikes (finally! after over a year of saving $), and he's in worse shape than me right now. So, I'll turn on a tv show (my only time to watch tv!) and finish my planned ride and maybe more on the stationary.

I just finished a week where I happened to walk 21 miles because I was in a different city and without a car. It was fantastic. So, although I typically meet 6-7 miles per week, for this coming week I would like to try to up my miles a bit. I feel like an 8-10 mile week is totally doable, even though I don't have a lot of free time. I have to admit, I don't usually walk for exercise because it's slow. My free time is often so precious I tend to do high intensity cardio to try to get more "bang for my buck", so to speak. However, I enjoy walking and I like how I feel after it. It would be nice to do a bit more of it. Plus, I can do intermittent jogging to up that intensity, too. :)

Today I'll be making some meals for the week in advance, namely lunches and dinners. I've not decided yet what they'll be, but at least one will be a bean and chicken dish. Probably lentils.

I would love to hear what others are doing!?! :)

Rest day is over, time to plan a great work out for today. I really am itching to ride my bike again. The pounds are going to melt away with those rides.

I'm 5'8" and determined to make a change now. Ten minutes of fitness daily. Too many times I've fallen off the wagon, time to make long lasting positive habits stick. Can I do it?! IG: DiverHiker24

Need to go food shopping.

High protein breakfast:
2oz lean turkey breast warmed up.
2 eggs over easy
2 slices whole wheat toast.

yum

Worked out 7 of the last 10 days. Every day I take a step toward reaching my goals, toning my body, losing the weight.

Right now I'm working on taking off 10lbs for July. Back on a serious fitness kick that started on June 30th, before then it was, well a long story.

Got on that mountain bike yesterday for 20 miles, planning a ride later today.
