Yay, finally.....I was down 1.2 lbs today. Now I somehow need to just keep that off with this upcoming crazy week.

Lots going on starting with my niece coming home from the air force tonight. Party tomorrow for her, party Christmas Eve, Christmas day get together and then it's the mad rush to be ready to fly next Friday! Oh man....how can I manage to lose at least another .8 before next Friday? Yikes. Oh well, it is what it is, I can only do my best.

It's just been a crazy time!!! I can't believe Christmas is in a few days and then I leave for New Orleans next Friday for my nieces wedding!! I have been slacking off for too long and this past week I've been back on track. I weigh in tomorrow and really hope I'm down. I've been struggling to lose just 2-3 stupid pounds! As of my scale it looks like I lost 1 so fingers crossed.

So sorry for the tooth issue. Ugh, NOTHING worse!! I hope all is going well now and that you have a fabulous Christmas!!
I'll report back tomorrow and let you know how I do.

And yes! I will set up something for 2019! We're going to have a great year!!

Sorry I disappeared for a bit. Work got overwhelming and then I got hit with a bad toothache which ended in a root canal that wasn't one of my better ones. This was number 4.

Trying to get in the holiday spirit but hope you start us a page for next year. I am ready for 2019!

Good morning,
Awesome news about being down - glad one of us is doing well.

I went yesterday and was up .4 :(

With that weigh in I am still about .8 above goal and overall for the year I'm up about 3.5 lbs. So my goal in the next 3 weeks is to try and see if there's anyway I can drop that 3.5 and then I'll end the year the same as I started. I never lost the 10 lbs I wanted to for the year but I will be happy if I can end on the same weight and know I at least maintained my weight for 1 year. I have been a bit out of control these last 2 weeks with candy that has found it's way into my house. So now I literally have 3 weeks to drop the 3 1/2 which will be a struggle. I leave for New Orleans on 12/28 (19 days) to attend my nieces wedding. the first party is 12/29. I'm so excited to go and praying we have good weather.

I admit - I'm very happy I am not working in an office right now because as bad as I am at home - when I was in the office this time of year it was reeeeeeeeeeally hard! Home is bad enough and today I need to clean the place out and do something with the candy I have purchased that is SUPPOSED to be going in stockings. Maybe I'll wrap it! HA HA HA. That MIGHT keep me out of it!

Annnnnnnnyway, stay strong and have a good week! We need to 'toughen up' and start saying NO! We can do it.

It has been crazy. I was good all week and was down today but then we had leftovers at work. Started with one danish. Then had another. Then my accountant gave her notice so then I had a sandwich and two cookies. If food is there I eat it.

Trying to clean up things in my office and instead I am just making more of a mess.

Morning,

No WW for me today and I've been a walking disaster. I am so disgusted with the eating I've done lately and here I sit 37 days to my niece's wedding! I will now have to take drastic measures to at least get these extra pounds off of me and I'm starting right now. My cousin is here but leaving today and all 'goodies' will go out the door with her. I will be sitting down tomorrow to put together an intense menu that I will follow for the rest of the year. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!!!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving and hope your FIL is doing better.

Been a crazy couple of weeks. FIL in hospital due to complications from his diabetes. He had a heart attack and got a stent. All that went well but then his diabetes got out of whack and they have had trouble regulating in the hospital. He went to rehab but the haven't done much. Stressful but hopefully things will get better.

Been eating better except today.

Start physical therapy on Monday. Turns out have arthritis in my knee.

Looking forward to it being 2019!!!!

Well I did it. I weighed in and remained the same as my last weigh in. So when it's all said and done I am 10.2 lbs from the goal I set for 12/31/2018.

Next goal is to be down 1 lb by next Saturday's weigh in. I MUST DO THIS!

HA HA HA HA! They might frown upon that but I'll ask.

As of this morning I'm only 1.2 over goal so must have been a little sodium activity yesterday morning? I'll take it and plan to be extra good today and drink lots of water. Can only hope for the best tomorrow but I WILL go.

We can do this. We have 67 days left in this year to make a difference! :)

Yes I have been paying for the lifetime the last few months. I was about ready to drop out and something made me go back and it really makes a difference. I am really motivated.

Get on the scale naked on Saturday. That's good for at least a pound and half.

I have been so bad all year. In January I said oh great, 12 months to lose 10 lbs - piece of cake.

Ya here I sit on 10/25 and now have 2 months to lose 14 lbs!!!!! Makes me so mad. I've been to WW a few times and the last 3 I have consistently gained. .6, .8, .8 whatever.... just not good. I AM on track now and have been doing good but then weekends come and I just gain back whatever I lose. It's a vicious cycle and I'm hoping to stop it this weekend. For the first time in what seems like months there are NO parties. My friend needs to get her storage unit emptied out so I volunteered to help her (since she helped me paint my spare room. I'm hoping I can stay on the straight and narrow and finally start a new week with no gain. I have to go to WW on Saturday morning to get my new lifetime code to register or they'll start charging me. So keep that in mind. You have to get one of those new cards with a code on it and put it into the online site. Otherwise they will charge you! Not sure if it's something you do every 4 weeks or 8 weeks? I can't remember! They'll tell you at your meeting

Speaking of not being connected correctly - the same thing happened to me........makes you wonder who's running the site?

As for me, I'm praying for a miracle because right now I'm 2.5 lbs over my goal weight. I forget where you have to be so you don't have to pay but hoping I'm ok. Or I can magically lose 2.5 lbs in ummmm a day and a half? ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Been tracking all week and excited to see what the scale shows either tomorrow or Friday. Turns out they had not connected by lifetime correctly so they weren't recording my weigh-ins not that there were many but I realized I didn't start my decline till April. Which would make sense because that was after Lent.

Yesterday was a bad point day but not so bad calorie wise. I ate a half a muffin and then when I saw how many points I was bad for the rest of the day. Contributing to this was that we had two fundraisers at work and the second one over ordered on food. There were cookies and chips. I resisted the chips till 5:30 pm but then I finally had a bag. Later I had a second bag. They were good but at 7 points a bag not the best. I had carry over points but still.

Went back to WW this morning. Finally. Yesterday the skirt was just feeling too tight so I went. I am up 9.8 from my lowest and 7.8 from my goal.

I am feeling much more dedicated and enjoyed the meeting.

There was someone there who used to be in the Friday meetings with him and I wasn't sure it was him because he had lost so much weight. When his wife joined him I knew it was him and was able to congratulate him on his weight loss. Very inspiring.

You can do it! Top priority is to get back to that goal weight and not have to pay. Then after that you can plan accordingly.

Ohhhh yeah, the chips and whatnot in Texas was NOT a good path to go down. I know because I too went down that same road when I was there. Ugh.

Thanks - she just loved her cake. We had so much fun at the bridal shower but again, out of control with the eating and drinking. My scale is up up up. A good solid 4 lbs easy. I got back on track first thing yesterday and am now sticking to it like glue with no more excuses.

I started this year with a goal to lose 10 more pounds and now it looks like 14 lbs and here it is October. So I absolutely MUST stick to my plan and get my act together. I believe I have mentioned that I have 3 events at my nieces wedding over new years eve and TWO of them are very fitted and oh let's call it what it is.......TIGHT! So either I get my sh*t together or I'm going to have to wrap myself in duck tape to get into them. So I'm just moving forward and I suggest you do the same. We just focus on the present and future and take it one meal at a time (forget even 1 day - for me it's meal by meal).

WE CAN DO THIS! We've come way too far to go backwards.

My first goal is to get back to WW meetings (I've been skipping way too many). So this Saturday I will go and weigh in and PRAY that I am not over my goal weight and be forced to pay. Right now I am just under the wire so need to focus for the rest of this week and face the music.

Upcoming challenges - dinner out tomorrow night with the bride to be, a birthday party on Saturday and another bridal shower on Sunday. (maybe I'll use that duck tape on my mouth).

Work got hectic and I fell off the Spark but starting again today.

Saw the pics of the gorgeous cake.

I was in Texas this weekend and we ate so many chips and cueso and guacamole. And I ate a lot yesterday with the flight home and then being hungry when arrived home. I did run yesterday morning but not enough to balance the eating. Scale was up again.

Wow - need to get back on track or last year's clothes won't fit.

How fun to go 'meet the baby' - enjoy. Sounds like you have a NICE weekend planned and yay for nails (I so need mine done).

SO, Texas was awesome and it was soo good to see her. She's doing great and we all had lots of fun. Unfortunately, I had way too much fun and ouch, did it show. I managed to drop a few pounds which was probably just excessive sodium but I hit WW this morning and am up 1.8 lbs. Still under goal but barely.....yet, not too concerned. I have finally got back into walking and I am back on track with food/water so I hope to lose that by next week and then push forward.

Time to get down to business and lose some more weight before December!

Ok, on that note, I'm off to meet with a cake consultant to customize a cake for my niece's bridal shower! :) After that I'm going to hit Macy's to utilize a 75.00 credit I have there. Hoping tomorrow is nice as we're planning a final trip to the beach to relax and enjoy the sun.

Hope you are having an awesome time in Texas.

The scale went the right way this week - thank goodness.

Have a busy weekend so ended up not going out tonight.

Tomorrow going to a meet the baby party. She is a month old. First thing I will go and get my nails done. Bliss!

And then on Sunday seeing a friend I have had since first grade. Our home town, Reading, where she still lives is having a fair and we will stop by there and then some shopping and then I'll stop by and see my Dad.

Thinking since I haven't been to WW in months I should just cancel. Probably much easier. Maybe I'll make it tomorrow morning.

Good Morning

It's been a wonderful summer and yet tough. I have not lost any weight and keep going back and forth with the up 2 down 2 blah blah blah. I haven't really been going to WW except for like a once a month weigh in. Last week was good and I was finally back down 1.4 which put me about .6 above where I was in June so a few pounds below my WW goal but still about 7 lbs below the personal goal I set for end of this year. This means it's time to get back on track and work harder.

We got this! We enjoyed the summer and now we get back to work. So glad you did well on the run and hope you have fun this weekend.

I have a few things to get done over the weekend. Next week I leave on Wednesday morning for Texas to see my niece graduate from Air Force boot camp. So excited to see her.

All the snacking has lead to too much slipping back. Was going to try to get to WW but work got in the way. There were only 3 in the office. Not back to where I was a year ago but too close for my liking so glad tomorrow is September and a new month is here.

Heading to the Umass - BC football game and then on to the Cape.

Hi! I'm back trying to get back in gear.

The race was great. I took 10 minutes off my time. It was perfect running weather and I raised over $3800 for Children's Hospital.

Somehow I have to get back on track. This summer has just wiped me out and I am in a funk. I am not where I was weight wise but still below where I was a year ago. But I want to be back on losing weight. I need to get to the meetings is the key.

Morning,

So another week down the drain and I did NOTHING to clean up my act. Didn't gain anything but didn't lose anything either. Sigh..... I will get this together and stick to it. 2 of my cousins are saying the same thing so we are going to work together. We're going to the beach on Monday and we are going to sit and go over menu's for next week and start supporting each other's efforts.

Wow Elizabeth! That's a whole lot of stress in one week. I'm so glad in the end everything is ok but yikes.

You're going to do great in the race. That's so cool that you run that........

I finally went back to WW last Saturday and faced the music. I was up 2 lbs which over all, wasn't that bad considering not too long ago (my scale) I was up about 4 1/2. I'm still below my WW goal but now only by a few tenths. After WW I went to the Cape to my cousin's and definitely did too much indulging. Not as bad as it could have been but bad enough. I'm back o the straight and narrow now but I have the end of this week off and I never seem to do well when I'm not on my regular routine. To top it all off, I have something going on with my back. It's really been bothering me up near the shoulder blade and now this morning I can see that I have a small group of bumps there. Freaked out and called the doctor. Going to see her tomorrow......the reason for my freak out is that in the past 4 months two of my friends have had shingles! I'm praying that is NOT what's going on with me but I figure better safe than sorry.

Anyhow.............hope you have a good week and know that I'm cheering along for the race!

Hi! Checking in.

One week to the race. Wow - not as prepared as I would like but I know I will be able to finish. Just wish I was faster.

Last week was a crazy week and I treated myself a bit. Since I have dense breasts they recommended a breast mri. Well the first one showed something. The followup mammogram and ultrasound did not. Then this past week they did another mri and did two biopsies and both were benign. Phew. Lot of stress but glad that is behind me.

Trying to be good today. Really need to get focused. Was supposed to be on vacation but decided to work though I wouldn't say I am being too productive.

HI!

Yesterday I missed a few of my goals for the day (water and blogging) and feel a bit discouraged but instead I spent time with family which is important. And I didn't go overboard at dinner so that's good.

I am running the Falmouth Road Race for Children's Hospital. Its 7 miles which is not a standard race length but it was originally designed to go between two bars. It has over 13,000 runners so it is a big race and a lot of run. Except for the hills which KILL me.

I have not gotten back on track but today is a new day. I have not been to WW in about 3-4 weeks and it's showing on my scale. I think I am up 4 lbs? So that means I'm about 1 lb over goal and it all stops here.

Menu's planned for the week and I WILL stick to them. I will also hit WW this Saturday to weigh in and hope for the best.

10 years running the race? That's awesome!!! When is it? I'm sure you'll do great....how far is the run?

Happy Saturday!!!

I am beyond THRILLED! Just got back from WW and I was only up .8! It was a lot of really hard work and discipline this week (and yes, a little starving) but I couldn't be happier.

Yet another big weekend upon me. My cousin's daughter just graduated from college and is heading to boot camp on Monday. So big party today followed with a family party tomorrow which of course means more food and drink! Hopefully I'll spend a lot of time running around helping out so I stay at a good distance from the food.

I'm back from vacation (got in last night) and oh my.....such a great time!!!

Decided to skip WW again today but WOW, the damage was done. Between the weight I was up before I went and the week I'm now up a solid 5 lbs.

LOTS of work to do this week because I am determined to be down at least 3 of those pounds.

Right now I'm up 2 lbs over goal which is the first time since I hit goal I'm over. Still ok with WW and lifetime but unacceptable otherwise. So I'm heading out now to go grocery shopping and get then going to just relax at my friends pool.

I haven't been on the scale because I have been at my Dads while my brother is at the Cape.

I had another tough weekend. Didn't go to WW but the scale was up 2.6 lbs and then party on Saturday and Vineyard yesterday. YIKES.

The race is on - I leave on Friday morning for Old Orchard Beach for a week! I have from now till then to lose as much as I can of that weight! Still need to finish all the packing and clean my house between tonight and tomorrow because I have nail/feet appt for Wednesday and hair appt. on Thursday and then will pick up my cousin Thursday night. We are out the door on Friday morning right after rush hour traffic.

WOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Just need to focus and get everything done asap.

Totally forgot to go to WW this morning. I need to get back into a routine of going. It really did make a difference. I got up early but finished a book instead. Did some much needed errands but everything seems to take longer than I think.

Tomorrow is the race. Fingers crossed I survive!

Sigh, wish I had a birthday for an excuse. My scale hasn't crept up but it's not budging and I am still UP close to 3 lbs. Still below my WW goal but I'm so disappointed in myself. I leave for vacation a week from today and wanted to be down 5 lbs. Was down just about 4 and then the disaster of last week which spilled over to this week and there you have it. I'm now up the 3 which means either I lose 4 lbs this coming week (fat chance) or miss the goal I set.

I have just had a miserable 3 weeks plain and simple. Totally lost my focus and have been half heartedly tracking, barely exercising and eating out way too much. Now tomorrow I'm going to a bbq and Sunday to the Vineyard for the day. Wednesday I have dinner plans and then Thursday night I pick up my cousin to start vacation. UGH. I will absolutely try to gain control this week and see if there's any chance I can drop at least another pound....

WE WILL NOT GIVE UP. We just need to push ourselves a little harder and try to make good choices whenever possible.

a 10K? GOOD LUCK. You can do it!!!

The scale continues to slowly creep up. It was my birthday last weekend and then some sweets this week. Candy is my downfall. I crave it, eat it, and then wonder why the scale is going the wrong way.

Supposed to run a 10K this weekend. It is going to be tough!

I was away for 4 days in Tempe for a Board meeting and the hotel had a snack shack. Oh my goodness. For me I was good but I still could have eaten a lot less. Heading back to WW this week - need to get back on tracking though I liked the system before the current one better. Those few extra points can me more freedom I thought and more likely to stick to the drill.

I did run once while in Tempe for a whole 1. 25 miles. I have a long way to go before I am able to run 7 miles in August. I am running the Falmouth Road Race once again. I need to get up in the morning and go for a run!

Happy Monday

Crazy weekend with WAY too much eating. Scale was the same at WW and I now have less than 3 weeks to hit my goal. That means I have to lose 1.6 lbs between now and then. At the rate I'm going it will be tough.

This past weekend was 2 parties plus a family reunion and the eating was disastrous. Now I'm going to dinner tonight and tomorrow night. UGH. I just have to keep trying I guess.

Happy June!

Scale was up 0.2 so I am just 0.2 below the 130 mark. The candy breaks are sticking with me. (or actually to my thighs). I want to be 125 by June 17th so I need to get on track.

Tomorrow is a pampering day. Hair and nails. Yeah!

Went to WW on Saturday and the scale was up .6 so need to focus on that.. My official monthly weigh in is this coming Saturday.

Scale stayed steady - down 0.2. Need to step it up if I want to be down 4.4 by June 17 - but it can be done.

However on the way to the Cape where I think sufficient damage will be done. But will finally get out running at least one day. Hopefully the water will be connected so that I can take a shower. It is always tough when opening up but hopefully everything will work out.

Was so great to see your new pic!

Okay week - got lots of steps and ate okay. Haven't been to WW so thinking of switching to just the online version. Not sure if I can do that.

WOO HOO, that's great that you got the scale to cooperate for you.

As for exercise? Same with me. I did great last week with double walks etc..........already now Yesterday and today I didn't get up early enough to get out. Really going to try and get back at it tomorrow morning. I hate waiting till lunch because something always comes up.

Never got to WW on Saturday but scale was around the same (I think I was up a few tenths). Ate horrible yesterday! Oh my it was bad bad news..........back at it today and just taking it day by day.

It's just a constant battle but one we WILL win! :)

Reducing the sugar got the scale back on Friday to a place I like. Would like to be down another two but still within range.

Ate okay over the weekend but have been slacking on the exercise. Just can't catch the bug!

I was planking but missed a day and that was it.

Somehow have to get on the bandwagon. Joined the gym on Friday - planet fitness but didn't go yet.

The scale is slowing creeping up so need to watch it. May is better than April but not the best yet.

Spent some time at my Dad's yesterday and so had pizza and they also have candy slices there. Love them and have no will power.

Being better today but need to stay on track.

Ok April was a bust. At the end of the month I was still below my WW goal but ended up still up 2 lbs from where I was in March.

May is a new month and I am back on track and getting out walking again. It showed on the scale this morning and I was down .8 Add that to the ups and downs and right now I am sitting 2.2 lbs below my WW goal. This means I need to drop 2.8 by the end of June (for my own personal goal).

So that is all I am focusing on right now. 2.8 lbs and getting back into a strong walking routine to start toning up.

So happy we FINALLY have some nice weather - I'm off to the outlets today dress shopping with my cousin and her daughter for college graduation.

I'm back. Down 1 lb. I am now going to really focus and try to lose at least another pound this month! I want to lose this next 5 lbs by June 1st.

Good Morning!

Good to hear from you. I hear ya about Easter! DC was good but all I can say is the eating out 3 meals a day for 5 days took it's toll. I did only go up .4 however, I was already up 1.6 so I am currently up 2 lbs. Still under my WW goal but hoping there's a little loss today. I got back on track last Sunday.......... we shall see. I'm heading out in about 20 minutes.

I have set some new goals that I MUST stick to. I want to drop at least 5 lbs before I head to Maine in July. Nothing on tap for the weekend. Running some errands and doing some cleaning. Might go out to dinner tonight, it will depend on the weather.

I had that weird cold/cough while I was in DC. Still not sure if it was indeed a cold or allergies. Could be the same for you Elizabeth? My friend ALWAYS loses her voice this time of year due to her allergies and is currently in that shape right now.

Hopefully we will start seeing some decent weather and soon! Now we have a few days of rain heading our way. SIGH, will it ever get warm?

Ok, I have to get ready to head out. I'll report back later.

Hi! Well I have been on a sugar high since Easter. I have had to have sugar every day. I am amazed that I am only up 2.4 pounds since Easter.

Was hoping to work out this month but after missing a day I fell off the wagon again. I have to get so toning in.

I have had a weird cold all week. Last Sunday was tired. Then got the sore throat on Monday Tuesday. Thought was recovering Wednesday and then got the sneezing on Thursday. Now I am still sneezing and have no voice.

But that is making me drink lots of water. So something good is coming from it.

Happy Easter! Finally made it back to WW on Friday. Did not realize I have to check in both with a meeting and online. I was smack on which was great. And then there was Easter. I wasn't actually too bad on Easter but today I ate a bag of starburst jelly beans. They were heavenly. And 1500 hundred calories. Planning to do a work out tonight. It will be quick but it will be something!

Heeeeeeeeey, so good to hear from you Elizabeth!!! Yikes, sounds like you've been crazy busy there. So sorry work has been so overwhelming. I really hope things improve soon.

Janine is also overwhelmed - she checks in on the daily chat thread but busy with work and school annnnnd, from what I see, a male revue last night - ha ha ha ha. Looks like she had quite a fun time.

Well I didn't go to WW this morning. I've been so tired lately I just couldn't get up for my meeting. I don't need to 'officially' weigh in again till the first week of April so I'm ok there. I did get on my scale and see I am up a pound but since I'm just about 3 lbs below goal I'm ok there as well. I also went out for pizza last night so that could be some of the gain... Anyway, I will just move forward and get back on track.

Like you, it's not that I'm eating junk food etc. It's just eating 'a lot' of food.......more than we would normally eat. Like you were saying about being in Texas. It happens and we just move on and get back on track when we can. It's a life process so we just keep working at it.

Hi Marianne,

I was feeling so bad about not posting and then read your posts. So missed you and your encouragement. Work has been crazy and difficult personalities are getting to me. And a young person gave their notice while I was away. Need to find someone else to join our small team. But that is no excuse and I am back. Maybe I will pick Sunday as my check-in day as Fridays are getting crazy.

I am at work once again on a weekend but spinning my wheels. Overwhelmed by everything I need to do and I get distracted by the internet. Really need to focus.

I have been holding my weight steady - not sure how. I haven't been back to WW so that means I am now paying the fee but I am okay with that because I think it holds me accountable. It is Lent so I am not eating sweets. But in March my exercise has been non-existing. And it wasn't that much to begin with. (Yes I wear my fitbit but still).

Went to Texas for one of my board meetings and they feed us well. I didn't eat any junk just a lot of food. But I got out of my blogging and exercise routine.

Well enough whining on my end. Just know that you have been such a motivator. What's up with Janine?

Well here I am checking in and talking to no one. sniff sniff.

Oh well I'm here and reporting that despite my stressful week at work I was down .6

Last week I never checked in and was also down I think .5? Regardless, with the new goal I had set (for myself) to lose 5 lbs........ I'm now down 2.6 and only another 2.4 to go. Hoping I can do that by like end of May/June. Got some great walks in last week but alas, nothing this week so still need to work on that!

Sigh, didn't go to WW today but per my scale I am up 1.6 lbs. That's what happens when a person goes crazy while on a 4 day mini vacation. So back to work this upcoming week as I will be required to weigh in on Saturday 3/3. I WILL be back down that 1.6 and am hoping to add a few tenths to that!

Down .6 at WW today so going forward, if I continue to lose I will need to wear something a little heavier so as not to draw attention to the fact that I am still losing after goal. Whatever.......

Weighed I today and was down .2 This puts me 1 lb below the WW goal and 4 lbs to go in order to reach my next personal goal. Hoping to hit that by the end of June.

Nothing much happening........going to attempt to do my cousins taxes today and make an appointment to get mine done. So happy this will be the last year I have to file in 2 states (because of work). Other than that, nothing on tap but some much needed cleaning. Oh joy.

Ok, so I already screwed up at WW (not with weight).

I knew I had to weigh in once a month but didn't realize it had to be on the first meeting of each month. So there I go, roll in there with jeans, long sleeved shirt, and the heaviest sweater I own (because it's simply freezing out)! Fortunately the ladies let me slide and just input the same weight I logged last week. So I will weigh in officially next week and remember this for the future. I did weigh myself this morning at my house and see that I am up about .4 which, considering what I did on 2 different nights this past week is pretty good but clearly I need to watch it.

Still need to push more exercising but doing a LITTLE better. Just need to be more focused.

LIFETIME! Woo hoooooo. now I just need to make sure I don't gain more than 2 lbs. Actually I dropped another .6 today so I'm currently .8 below my goal.

So if I continue to lose (which I want to) I will start adding clothes for weigh in. I can drop maybe another 1.2 at WW before they erhmmm, make a comment about resetting my goal.

.02 is nothing......you got it! Sounds like a fun weekend on tap for you and it's probably just what you need to forget about the work stress (even if it's only for 2 days). Take it from the expert - do NOT let work get in the way of your own personal goals. You are absolutely right, you can only do so much in a day. On Monday just do your best to prioritize the pile and go from there. Too many times I allowed the stress of work to be my crutch for eating and trust me, it's difficult not to do that - I still struggle with it every day. Some days are easier than others but we just need to push forward.

I just went this morning and was down .8 which now puts me .2 below my WW Goal and just one more week to go till Lifetime! Hoping to either maintain this or drop even another 1/2 lb. We'll see how the week goes.

Heading to the casino in Attleboro tonight for dinner and the comedy show and maybe a little gambling. What would be really nice would be to hit a slot machine for a few bucks!

Work schedule and weather have kept me away from WW but today the scale was up 0.2 so that works for me. I've been pretty good this week. One bad day with cake and ice cream but overall doing well. Feeling overwhelmed by all the work on my desk and not feeling organized but you can only do what you can do.

Getting to see some friends on Saturday and Sunday which will be fun! And tomorrow I am getting my hair and nails done. So excited to sit and read a book while hair is being done!

Way to go Jen!

I was all set to go to WW yesterday but work got in the way. And I was going to go this morning but the weather was supposed to be lousy. Of course it wasn't but I had a meeting at 11 and there wasn't enough time to head over.

Good move on keeping your WW goal where it is since once you get lifetime than no more payments. Of course I will probably be hit with a payment since I haven't gone and weighed in for awhile.

Doing pretty well for January with minor exercising and good tracking. Last night though the willpower went and I finished the last of the Christmas tootsie rolls. But you know what they were good and now they are not tempting me.

Great job Jen!!!

I just changed my SP goal to drop another 5 lbs. Decided to leave WW where it is right now as I have 3 more weigh ins to make lifetime but it's time to get back on track and drop a little more weight and get exercising! My last Christmas get together is tonight and then I'll start taking the tree down tomorrow. So by Saturday night my house should be back in order and there will be no more excuses!

Right now my goal is to start on Monday of next week and get to the gym 3 times a week. Let's see if it happens but by then all the Christmas stuff will be away and my house will be back in order so there will be NO excuses!

Good morning!

Just got back from WW and was down .6 so happy about that. Still up .4 so need to make sure by next week I am down at least another .6. This was week 3 of maintenance so 3 more weigh ins to go and I can stop paying!

Elizabeth. You should see the 'strip down' at my WW meetings. I wear the same stretch pants I normally do but now wear jeans over them. So when I hit the scale I take off the jeans, the sweatshirt, etc. for weigh in. Everyone does it. Once girl was stripping off jeans, socks, sweatshirt, sweater........ They are used to seeing that so next time you go, bundle up and either shed it at the scales or go in the ladies room first and change into your weigh in clothes.

I'm getting my exercise this weekend dismantling my Christmas Display. 50 huge Rubbermaid tote containers being packed up and transported back downstairs to the basement! :) Sad to see it go but will be so happy to have my house back to normal. Then I can focus on the real exercising.

I agree with the focus on exercising. Starting slow but doing something everyday. Going to get in my 10,000 steps everyday.

Scale was back down today but too cold to go to WW weigh-in plus how do I balance all the extra clothes.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

Let's start out 2018 with purging all of the remaining holiday junk food. Brush off the treadmills and go go go!

I am happy that I reached my WW weight loss goal in 2017 but now I want to focus on losing at least 5 more pounds (if not 10). But more importantly, I want to focus on exercise for 2018. I want to finally get to a good place where I am working out at least 3 times a week for January and then push to 4 times a week by February. Consistency is what I need for 2018.
