I've definitely hit a plateau, BUT I'm thrilled to be below 160. This challenge has been a wonderful help to me. We should do another one for spring! Congrats to everyone who made progress over the past few months!

I just remembered to weigh in this morning for December. Even after adjusting my goal last month and being sick for a few weeks I still didn't meet my goal. I may not have met my goal for this challange but it has helped a great deal getting to where I am now. Congrats to everyone who stuck with it and reached there goal or at least lost more than they would have by themselves.

I didn't make my goal, but I am happy to be in 160'ville finally! I am going to work hard and see where I can get for Jan. 1st. I think a good goal would be 162. This was fun! Thanks for putting it together and CONGRATS to all who met their goals!!

Personal Goals:

1) Increase my daily caloric intake by at least 1,500 calories :(
1a) *Remember to eat the days I work both jobs. :(
2) Read more. a lot more. :(
3) Drink more fluids. :(
4) Go sleep by 10:30 the nights I dont work both jobs. :( and 1 am the nights I do work both jobs. :)
5) Bhangra everyday :(

* these days it will be the hardest for me. Both jobs are restraunt type jobs and require the employer is not required to give breaks. Many days the break between jobs will only be 25 or 30 minutes. So I will have breakfast at 7am and dinner between 10:30-11:30pm

i added smiles and frowns to show if I meet my other goals or not

Did not do so great last month.. this month so far is better.. up date in 2 weeks :)

Well I did not meet my goal for November, but I am proud to say I am on the right track. I am currently at 164.5!!! That's very close to 158 which is my goal for December!

Only lost one pound this month. I reset my weight-loss goal for December since I'm so far behind. My problem (thankfully) isn't eating junk food, but seems to be finding motivation and time to exercise around my stressful teaching job...

I am just starting this challenge. I haven't been on spark in a while and although it's late in the challenge I wanted to get started on one right away.

I'm definiately late for this challenge but I wanted to join one! Hafta be on alert for the next one!

I'm coming into this challenge late, but better late than never. My ultimate goal was always to get to my goal weight by mid December, and definitely by the Christmas holidays. I actually didn't weigh myself this morning. I have changed my weigh in days to Mondays, and that's the only day I record. I did get on the scale yesterday or the day before and I was a pound or so under what my tracker says. I think I had extra water weight from being out of town over the weekend and being off my schedule. So, here are my stats and goals for the last month of the challenge:

Current Weight: 153
Goal Weight (for challenge): 149
Weight to Lose: 4 lbs
Ultimate goal weight range: 142-147 lbs (I think. I'll have to see what that looks like. I've never been that weight as an adult.)

September 1st: 157 lbs
October 1st: 154 lbs
November 1st: 153 lbs
December 1st: 149 lbs goal

Personal Goals:
1) Do something active every day, no matter how small it seems.
2) Make sure to only record weight once a week, and not get obsessed with weighing every day.
3) Eat at least 3 servings of veggies/fruit a day, eating at least one of each.
4) Stick to my half marathon training schedule, even the cross train days that I don't think are as important as running days.

I most definitely surpassed my goal for October! Don't really know how I lost 11 lbs this past month, but yay!! Like I did on Oct 1, I changed my goals for the rest of the challenge.

Hey Everyone, just weighed in this moring and was at 184 lbs. It is higher than my goal for November but considering I had stalled out a few weeks ago, I'm happy. I've had to change my goal for December but hopefully with Thanksgiving comming up I can make that goal. Good luck to everyone.

It's October 25, so I only have about a week before November 1st. I can see that I won't hit my goal of 150#. At the moment, I'm hoping for 158#...I have not been staying in my calorie range or exercising for the last few days, so I can't hold out hope for more than a two pound loss this week.
Still, it will be less than what I go to in October (161.6#). So...in the right direction...even if it is plateau-ish. :). November, I'll try to keep a closer eye on my emotions, sleep, and hunger cues. :). We CAN do this.

I was two lbs off this month, but since I had been stuck at 162 lbs for a few weeks, this was a welcome change. I haven't had time to exercise more than a couple times a week, since my new teaching job has left me insanely busy. I''ve only eaten junk food once...but now I need to get back into exercising regularly again!

Congrats to everyone making goals and making progress!

I had a lot of change and stress in my life right when I was joining this challenge and actually gained weight, but I'm now moving in the right direction again. I lost about a month, so I'm going to refresh my goals to be realistic (and still ambitious!):

Goal Dates:
1st of September below 180 lbs - achieved!
1st of October - 171 lbs - Now aiming to achieve by October 20th
1st of November - 168 lbs - 6 lbs over my previous goal, since I lost a month in progress
1st of December - 159 lbs - I still want to be in my 150s for the holidays!

I'll keep minimizing sugar and portions, maximizing nutrition and exercise. Managing my emotions and taking care of myself will go a long way to maintain these healthy habits. Specifically, I've had success doing Zumba and preparing healthy lunches for work - I'm building on that to get involved in a variety of activities regularly and prepare healthy meals as part of my new normal.

Progress thus far:

Goal weight (for challenge): 80kgs (176lbs).
Ultimate goal weight range: 65-70kgs (143-154lbs).

September 1st: 87kgs (191lbs). - Achieved! I weighed myself today: 86.4kgs (190lbs) :-).

October 1st: 84kgs (185lbs). - I forgot to weight myself on October 1st, so I'll use the weight from my last weigh-in (10/5): 84.9 (187lbs). So close!!

November 1st: 82kgs (180lbs). - Changing this to 83kg.

December 1st: 80kgs (176lbs). - Changing this to 81kg.

Personal goals:
1) Exercise 5-6 times a week. - Doing this.

2) Eat more fruits and vegetables. - Achieving this :-).

3) Absolutely NO more fast food. - Doing this as well!

4) Have snacks ready to munch on so I don't go off track so easily! Snacks like chopped up fruits, carrots, celery, etc. - Yes! Almonds, raisins and carrots, and apples :-).

5) Stop being so hard on myself and celebrate success... but NOT with food :-P. Pampering myself will work just fine as a celebration :-D. - Pampering, yes!

Adding a 6th goal:
6) No more take-out!

My weight keep changing so I'm not too sure where I'm at. I haven't reached my goal yet though.
I think start counting calories more and go for walks when the weather allows.
I'd really like to get under 70kg by the end of the year.

So I am way late getting on this train, but better late than never! My tiny frame cannot handle the extra pounds anymore, so I am getting serious about doing this weight loss thing!

Today I weighed myself and only came to 172 pounds. Definitely not 169 pounds but close and I'm proud that I got to 172!

For the month of September I definitely ate out a little more than I usually do. Since I never eat out, eating out twice in the month was more than usual. I've been counting my calories and I keep getting under them so for the month of October my main goal is to hit at least 1300 calories each day and continue with drinking 8 glasses of water a day. I also have a goal to do exercise everyday even if it is 10 minutes of sit ups. I've found it's better than not doing exercise on one day because then I don't want to continue after.

Weight when started goal: 182

I was perhaps too optimistic setting an October 1st goal, with only a week to hit it. That said, I worked out 4 days last week and gained :( Frustrating, but its a new week, new month, new goal and I am determined to stay on track :)

Just hit my Oct 1st goal (a few days ahead of schedule!)

I've been trouble sticking to a healthy diet the past couple days, so really looking to get it back together this weekend and get back on track.

I am .6 lbs away from my October 1st goal and I must admit that I am pretty happy about it! In the past I've never been able to stick to a goal so actually doing it this time is amazing motivation. I can work off .6 in 3 days :)

Been MIA for a while but trying to get motivated again and get to my birthday goal!

I know I am late but better late then never!

1) Exercise 5 times a week for 30 minutes each time
2) Eat more fruits and vegetables.

A bit ambitious, yes, but I know I have a lot of areas that I can be making big changes. :P

Personal Goals:
1) Get myself moving a bit extra every day- never take the shuttle to class, always take the stairs, exercise.
2) Get into the habit of tracking regularly.
3) More water- get myself up to 8 glasses/day.
4) Get back into a size 10 comfortably and show off to my roommate. :)

Hello everyone =) my name is Jaime, and this is my first time posting. Count me in for the challenge!

I'm joining very late, so I'll start mine for October 1! I did the Fit by Fall, but never checked back with the page - maybe because there is no accountability. I'm also not a huge fan of setting dates for myself because it isn't about the date (per say), just that the weight is coming off! Regardless, I'll do it anyways, just because it'll be fun!

Even though my true goal is 2 lbs a week/8 lbs a month, I'm going to set a goal of 6 lbs a month. I'm sure it'll be exceeded, but I don't want to disappoint myself!

Current Weight: 162.4
Goal (for challenge): 148
Overall Goal Weight: 132 (120s maybe???)

Goal Dates:
22rd of September SW - 162.4
1st of October - 160 lbs
1st of November - 154 lbs
1st of December - 148 lbs

Personal goals
1. Continue with cardio 7x a week and increase running to 2x a week (after I finally get fitted for running shoes!)
2. Make sure to get at least 1000 calories (surprisingly, I don't eat enough!)
3. Make sure to have protein with every meal

Another late joiner here! I've lost nearly 40 lbs at this point, and I've got 30 lbs left to go to my ultimate goal. This challenge will be a great way to keep accountable and share progress with all of you.

Goal Dates:
1st of September below 180 lbs - achieved!
1st of October - 171 lbs
1st of November - 162 lbs
1st of December - 153 lbs

I'll keep minimizing sugar and portions, maximizing nutrition and exercise. Managing my emotions and taking care of myself will go a long way to maintain these healthy habits. Specifically, I've had success doing Zumba and preparing healthy lunches for work - I'm building on that to exercise regularly and prepare healthy meals as part of my new normal.

OK time to check in again. I'm not sure completely what my weight was at the 1st of September but I think it might been 73kg, next day 72kg and then more than 73 kg another day. Well I'm hoping for a bit of loss. I think I might be able to reach that goal of 71 kg. I just need to keep running, start doing strength training and get out more on my days off.

I'm a bit late...but I still want to do this! I want to lose 16 pounds by December 1st. I plan on continuing to eat within my calorie range, and exercising by running stairs, running, walking, doing fitness videos, and jump roping. I plan to exercise at least 180 minutes a week. I'm not sure if I can lose this much weight since then I'd be super close to my goal weight, but I can try!
