Why does it seem like when I start eating better I still managed to gain weight? Could it really be that influenced by stress? Which in the last 2 weeks has increased greatly for me. (It was out of my control.)

My goal is to be 141# by May 30...since I do weigh-ins on Thursdays!

Edit: actually my goals for May 30 is to do at least three weekly weigh-ins and to stay 165-161# and below. My goal is to exercise (run, swim, walk, or Zumba) at least 8 times during that month.

I really wanted to lose 20-27 lbs I started at 147lbs on March 16 now I weigh 135 on March 28... So far I've only lose 12 lbs.. 8 more to go til I get to my min weight lost! :) Doing good so far! Time to tone!!!

Well, I guess I did ok on my spring challenge. Could have been better had girl scout cookie season not existed. :-/

Feb 20: goal 227 (ACTUAL 232.5 on 2-22) what the hell?

I changed my original goal of 200 by June to be 200 by July, so I wouldn't feel so funky about being so far behind. Darn that cookie season!

I lost 1.4# this month. I hit a plateau and these last week, I've been trying new foods and bumping up my exercising and it's paying off some. Keeping it up!

Challenge start weight (Jan 6th): 218
20th of January goal: 212 (Actual weight on Jan 20th is 213... missed by one pound, but 5 down in 14 days is pretty good for me!!!)

20th of February goal: 208 (actual weigh on February 27th is 212.. so down another pound)

20th of March (first day of spring!!) goal: 204

-6 pounds to date... hoping to knock it up a notch in the next couple of weeks to make that 204 mark!!!

Hi everyone I am new to this forum. I would like to join! I have lost 7 pounds this month (I did a lot of holiday eating). I weighed my self on January 3rd and got my starting weight of 191.
I weighed myself on Jan 26th and I now weigh 184. My goal weight is anywhere between 145-155.

Well, I lost 3 pounds this month. Not anywhere near the 8 pounds I wanted to lose, BUT on the bright side, I have worked out 6 out of 7 days each week, except a few days when I had the flu. That is a major accomplishment for me! I am also packing my lunch and eating a healthy breakfast. I have done that all month so I am very proud of that.

I know that this is going to be a long journey and I have to overcome a lot of bad habits, but I feel so good working out. I can even see some definition!!

While reflecting on this past month, my new goal is to keep working out and eating a healthy breakfast and lunch as well as, only drink soda twice a week. I drink way to much and it is so hard to quit... baby steps lol.

So technically throughout the day my weight is fluctuating between 155-157 so I decided to go with 157 instead. It has been months since I actually started thinking about weight loss and I'm running about 3-4x as much as I use to so I'm not too disappointed. I know for me being so close to my goal weight and being under 160 means sometimes reaching that 2lb mark per week is hard so I'm just going to continue to watch what I eat and keep at it at the gym and maybe I'll hit a soft spot and lose the 7lb in this next month.

My weigh-in day is Saturday so I technically weighed in a day early but I beat my January 20 goal by 2 lbs. I weighed in at 169. That weigh-in was followed by a not so stellar weekend of health wise but I'm not going to let that deter me.

I have a 6 month goal so its more like a summer challenge/boyfriend coming back from Afghanistan but my goal has been to lose about 5lb a week so my goals would be:

Current Weight: 160
Jan 20 - 155
Feb 20 - 150
March 20 - 145

But even breaking it down into these mini challenges will be helpful just to make sure I'm staying on track :)

But I'm only attempting to weigh myself once every 1-2 weeks just so I know it a "weight lost" and not a lost of a bunch of water weight overnight

I am going to join hoping that this will help motivate me.... I started a bit late, but I am excited to do this!

Current weight: 218 (gained a few over the Christmas holidays)
20th of January: 212
20th of February: 208
20th of March (first day of spring!!): 204

I might modify these goals as I go... I am not really sure how much to aim for, but I read somewhere that 1-2 pounds a week is a healthy amount of weight to lose, so I put in my goals at one pound a week to lose.

Current Weight: 176

I want in on this one!! I am just getting back into the swing of things after taking a LONG break from taking care of myself. I am going to try to lose 2 pounds a week :)

Hello everyone! I liked being part of the "Healthy by the Holidays" challenge, so I figured I'd start one for the spring. There's not a set goal for this challenge, it's just for us to set our own goals. :) Feel free to add any non-weight loss related goals to this challenge as well.
