Success so far!

I have been doing a core class at my gym 1-2 times a week now. Usually Iíll do some ab work on the floor with my stretching after a workout but decided to give this class a try. When I did my measurements on Saturday I lost a total of 0.5 of an inch off my abdomen and waist. I will share the totals of the change of my measurments at the end of the month but so far so good!

What is everyone else doing for their routine? Any results yet?

I'm in! I'm nowhere near actually seeing my abs, but it will probably be beneficial in the long term.

I'll try to follow the BeFit 6-pack abs challene, they have the workout plan in the description of the video.

I would love to join your challenge if it wasn't for the fact that I need to lose about 30lbs before I'll even be able to see my abs! :p

Ooo yay!!

I have two routines:
Lying leg lifts w/ reverse crunch 15 reps
Crunches 20 reps
Single leg lifts w/ glute stretch 10 reps ea. leg
Side crunches 20 reps each side
-repeated 3 times

Bicycle crunches 50 reps (25 each side)
Leg lifts in captains chair 15 reps
Russian twists w/ weight 50 reps (25 each side)
Plank :30 seconds
- repeated 3 times

I am also starting to take a 30 min class that focuses on the core once a week at my gym. I strength train usually 3 times a week and have been trying to do abs more often. I am looking for some exercises online (blogs I follow and Pinterest). I am also wanting to include obliques and challenge myself more!

Oh me!! I just started ST again after a 5-6 month hiatus and I'm so excited about it! I'm doing what I've always done on my arms, but I'm focusing more on my abs now! In addition to doing about 200-300 crunches (NOT sit ups!) a day, and about half as much reverse crunches, I've added doing at least 60 seconds of plank. I'm looking for a more solid ab routine since that's all I'm doing for my abs, but I firmly believe that the plank is by far the best thing you can do for your entire body.

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone would be interested in trying out a Fab Ab February with me? I don't have a plan yet but I really want to focus in on my midsection for my last 15-20lbs! I have never had a flat tummy (always had a tiny pooch under the belly button) and if I am working towards a more toned-fit body I might as well do it 100% and get my dream stomach =)
