Yes I am doing no weigh in November :) I don't really weigh myself that often anyways but thought it would be nice to ignore the scale completely for at least a month :)

When I use the scale, I will never lose weight. When I give up the scale and focus on feeling good, eating healthy so that I'm regular, and exercising to feel good, I can go a lot further than if I'm constantly weighing myself and hanging onto an arbitrary number. I went to weigh myself a few weeks ago, just for fun and the batteries in my scale were dead, so I took it as a sign, that I don't need to know. Whatever works for you, it's all personal.

not at all! SP is for you to meet your own personal goals as related to...well, anything really, but mainly healthy lifestyle. Especially if you're at a place where you're happy with your BMI and just need to maintain and not sweat the small stuff like one day of holiday eating with family or something. I aspire to give up the scale one day but right now I'm not honest enough with myself about what I'm doing to be able to do that. Sounds like you're in a good place! Utilize the community to help you stay there, but definitely not anything that you should worry enough to not log in or anything :)

So I came to a conclusion that I didn't want to weigh myself anymore. I decided that if I wanted to be happy with making the right healthy choices, making decisions that made me stronger and happier, that the scale didn't really have a place in that. I have an average BMI and all I want is to have a healthy life style. Is that contradicting the whole point of sparkpeople?
