I received some wonderful motivation. My husband put his arms around me and said, "I don't think I've ever been able to do this before." He was talking about being able to grab his elbows behind my back while hugging me... emoticon

Noticing the small changes in your body can be a great motivator to keep going!

Quick breakfast meals:

1 - Slice of toast with peanut butter (1Tbs), 1 cup milk, 1 fruit
2 - Slice of toast with apple butter (1Tbs), 1 hard boiled egg, 1 cup milk, 1 fruit

my recipes are generally guides instead of strict plan of how to make something.

i tend to throw a bunch of stuff in my slow cooker. i use a bag of frozen veggies, lean proteins, and a legume. i uses some time of broth if i want a soupier consistency.

I've been looking for recipes with lentils and spinach. This combo really helped me lose weight after I got the tip from Tim Ferris's The 4 Hour Body. The diet he describes is pretty extreme but I was able to just make a spinach lentil dish to bring for lunch at work and it really worked that week!

I plan on doing a crock pot a week of some kind of spinach/lentil dish for my work lunches.

Quick Meal:

1/2 cup cooked fetticini noodles
1 cup cooked broccoli
2 oz canned chunked white chicken (98% fat free)
1 TBSN I can't believe it's not butter spray

Mix hot pasta, hot broccoli, chicken, and butter spray all together in a bowl. Season to taste. By itself it is a quick easy lunch, add a fruit and you have dinner.
