Diane - I think you copied an older post. The new season will be starting on 7/31 and run through 11/19. Here is a copy of Blaize's blog, which she posted today. If someone wants to be unofficial until 7/31 to try it out or get to know their new team before the season starts, I am sure they can join a team early. Some people prefer to be unofficial through the entire season. The challenges themselves are not hard to do, but it is a commitment - it is not fair to your team if you join and do not even try.

Welcome to Season 9 of the Done Girls seasonal challenges! INSPIRE (Ignite New Strength, Passions, Inspiration and Reflect Everyday) starts July 31 (first weigh-in and measurements) through November 19 .

These seasonal challenges were designed so that each week all participants are given a weekly challenge. During the week each gal participates and tries to get full points for herself. Once a week she weighs-in and puts down what points she got in the challenge. Then team leaders input the information into the spreadsheet a for tabulation of the teams with the biggest weight loss and most challenge points.

Challenges

Challenges for points will run Sundays through Saturdays....so you will post your points and weights on Saturdays. Please post your beginning measurements and weights on July 31(initial weigh in) so that the first week does count towards weight-loss.

INSPIRE is going to be so much fun!!! We are glad that you have decided to partake in this challenge. The teams that you are in will grow into a family over the course of the next few months. Remember, they are there to support and encourage you! While the main focus is on creating a support group to help you along with your journey, please remember to be an ACTIVE participant. Your weight loss and points total each week will contribute to your team. Some people are here because they find competition to be extremely motivating. If you aren't willing to put in 100% to your team, then maybe this isn't the right challenge for you. In the past we have had a lot of girls drop out, often leaving some teams with only a couple of active girls; this can be very discouraging for people because it means that they will never win and they don't have anyone to talk to. You will only get as much from this challenge as you put into it.

With that said here's some information for you!

TEAMS:
There are 6 (THIS NUMBER MAY CHANGE) teams that will be competing this season. I am trying to make them as equal in members as possible, but I will not be able to get it exact. These teams are in place to help you through this journey so please use them. The chat threads have been set up so that your team has its own place to go and chat. It is a safe zone where you can talk as much as you want!

WEIGH-INS, MEASUREMENTS, & CHALLENGE POINTS
If you cannot weigh in every week and participate in the challenge PLEASE let your leaders know. Three missed weigh-ins will result in you being pulled from the team UNLESS you contact your team leaders and let them (and us) know what is going on. We understand that fall and winter are busy and extenuating circumstances may occur and we don't want people that want to remain in the challenge to be kicked off.

Measurements are not mandatory, but are useful for your reference to see how successful you are over the course of the challenge.

Challenges are a critical part of this group. Please participate as much as you can in challenges and post your points in the tracking thread.


TEAM TRACKING THREADS
It is VERY important to ONLY use the tracking template that your leader provides for you. Please make sure your challenge points and weights are posted in the team tracking thread on Saturday so that the leaders can get the spreadsheets together. It is VERY important to use the templates provided by NEWCASTLE7B for the challenges. Please only use those templates to post in the team tracking thread so that the leaders can easily locate all the information. Also, be sure to total up all your points at the end of the week so that the leaders do not have to do this for each individual.

DATES:
SATURDAY. Challenges run Sunday through Saturday (meaning points for new weeks start counting on Sundays). The challenge runs July 31 through November 19.

Please listen to the requests of your team leaders.

If you have any question please let us know! We will be adding to this thread as necessary to answer everyone's questions!

We don't want to scare anyone off. This is a HUGE challenge and we are going to make it as simple as possible for challenges and being aware what is necessary as well as making it easy for the leaders.

We are going to have so much fun and lose so much weight! Get ready for a great season ladies!

Yes, we are in the last few weeks of the challenge. We actually need people for the new challenge which will start soon. But we like to get people joined early and they can get comfortable with the team and challenges. You would start the challenges right away, but your results would not carry weight until one of the 30 girls on the spreadsheets drops out. If you get in at the end of the previous challenge you are usually guaranteed a slot in the next season coming up. So this is a great time to join and see if it is for you!

Hi, I am also co leader of a Challenge team looking for new members. The challenges last 18 weeks and your loss or gain and also challenge points contribute to the teams total, we compete agains other teams. Lots of fun and chatting too!
