Using the Food Processor

When I use my food processor, I now cover the bowl with clear plastic wrap. That way, when I'm finished 'processing', I can take the plastic wrap off and not have to wash the lid/top. Voila!

Freeze Old Bananas

We used to let a lot of bananas ROT and then we would toss them. But now , once they get ripe enough, I just freeze them. They are great in smoothies or, just sliced frozen banana is a great dessert if you mash them up a bit. It tastes just like an ice cream treat to me.

Trader Joe's sells whole wheat couscous. It costs the same, still takes just 5 minutes to prepare, and my family doesn't even notice the difference. It's a whole-grain lifesaver!

Don't Expect Yourself to Always Be Perfect

In my main profession as a healthcare provider, it's so easy for me to feel down when a procedure doesn't go perfectly or even when a patient doesn't accept treatment. I tell myself I'm a good person who really cares about my patients and their health and that I'm am doing the very best I can.
