Portable Bike Pedals



I set aside a couple of 10 minute sessions per day to pedal out some exercise. I keep the compact device under my desk and enjoy 10 minutes of robust pedaling! While I'm pedaling I think about positive things like the trip I'm planning or the nice hot bath I'll have before bed. I also say a quick prayer of gratitude for being able to exercise at all. Just a year ago I was on life support and not expected to leave the hospital. I can appreciate every minute that I am alive. Ten minutes of pedaling is a small effort that leads to big results! Then back to work knowing I did something healthy for myself! Just one 10 minute session allows me to clear my mind and get on track to having a successful day. Always be mindful of every little thing that you can do to increase the opportunity for good things to happen. Little things like a giggle from your co-worker when they see the strange movement from behind your desk. That giggle is just one more reminder that your doing something good for yourself. Offer to loan your pedals to your co-worker, then you have shared a little something positive! Just 10 minutes! In that short time you can accomplish so much. Be sure to add a little arm movement. Throw up your hands in praise, sway them in the air as if the wind was blowing them, or do a few bicep curls. Every little movement counts and rejuvenates your body and prepares it for the rest of the day. The pedals are inexpensive and lightweight. You can find them at your local store and set up is easy. In just a few minutes you have a device set up that can increase your productivity, help to mark off 10 minutes of exercise, and just add a little bit of mindful goodness to your day. Have fund!
