The journey started because I was unhappy with my weight and the Doc told me I needed lower my cholesterol.

Lifestyle change is the goal to achieving a healthy mind and body. 2011 is the year of "Just say Yes"
Say "yes" whenever someone asks you to participate in an activity. Say YES to healthy foods. Say YES to living life.
I will also encourage friends and family to join me on this journey so we can all support one another and have FUN together. The challenge I see ahead is consistency. This has always been my stumbling block. Get going strong and then peter out. But this time I am determined and will utilize the tools on the SparkPeople site to help me stay focused. 2012 Goals
1: C25K - Continuous through the 9 week program. 2: Walk/ Run a Half Marathon (DONE!)
3: Keep exercise fresh by changing it up
4: Join the Beach Cities Challenge and complete the next 2 1/2 marathons to get the Challenger Medal

My Program:
1 Set-up a support group, to get friends and hubby to work out with me, consistently.
2 Document fitness regularly.
Monday walk & Yoga
Tuesday optional activity
Wednesday - Spark buddies (Mall walk)
Thursday - Tai chi and walk with gal pal
Friday rest
Saturday - Sparkers at the beach
Sunday - rest
