Update: July 2015:

Back up to my highest weight ever and back on sparkpeople. Determined to do it right this time. But I need help and support. Here are my goals:

1st August: 88kgs
1st October: 79kgs
17th November: 72kgs
9th December: 69kgs
10th February: 60kgs
15th March: 55kgs

I lost my way. I went down to 68kgs and now am back up to 78kgs. I had sworn to myself that this would not happen..but it did. Because maintenance is a bitch. It's hard work...when you're trying to lose the weight its easier to keep focused..when you feel you're "done", its so easy to go back to bad eating habits. And I guess you realise then that your eating habits are not really habits after all. Your lifestyle has not really changed - its just been adapted till the weight is lost. And then when you stop trying to lose weight, you're back to bad old habits. This is very hard work! Anyway, I'm back to feeling very fat and unattractive...I'm back to wearing loose black clothing..back to being unable to fit into my newer smaller clothes. So I'm back to a place that I had promised myself I'd never get back to!! So...I'm feeling ashamed and embarassed... No..its not just that. I feel FAT and UGLY and very DIRTY...I am uncomfortable in my own skin and i can't remember the last time i was so BLOODY UNHAPPY...
Is this enough for me to get started again??? Not on my I'm back to helped me before - I'll help me today!!! I cannot do it alone!!! I'm starting over. 78kgs...8 weighing since scales discourage me more often than not, good food, lots of exercise...and hopefully I'll get back (or close to, at least) to where I used to be 6 months ago! I really want to do it. I really need to do it. I hate feeling the way I'm feeling right now.. I want to get back...and more so BEFORE I put on any more weight!! So help me God. Here we go!

My most helpful Quotes:

Being fat is harder work than losing weight!

Discipline is the seldom used word in the fitness industry. Youll read a lot about the new magic workout, the new magic diet, the machine thats sure to burn fat off your butt, etc. Its all a bunch of nonsense. A bodybuilder works out even when he/she doesnt feel like it; stays on the diet even when he/she feels like going off it. Its about doing the right thing and the hard thing at times. One day of discipline leading to another day of discipline. You build your body and your mind simultaneously. Without this, everything is fruitless. The good thing is anyone can do it -- if they choose to.

My Goals:
By June, I want to be back to 68kgs...hopefully even less... I want to have stuff of wear in summer and not feel fat and hot and bothered all the time..No more black clothes in summer!!!

My Program:
Gym - 3 times a week
Plus 1 hour pilates
45mins weight training
Walking and stationary bike when I can.

Food is my downfall..I start off the day well and struggle in the afternoon, when often I end up bingeing! And all the exercise and hard work I''ll have done till then is lost! I want to stop this! Not sure how...but I''ll give it my best. Today is the first day... I need to keep away from the kitchen during the afternoon - THAT'S MY GOAL

"Beautiful Woman Award! Once you've been given this award, you have to paste it on the wall of 8 women who deserve it. If you receive more than 3, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen, but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out"

Congratulations on returning to Spark. I understand feeling like a failure. Maybe it would help to re-frame your experience, look at it from a different angle? For one, you really DID achieve success in your weight loss goals. That is commendable and it means you can do it again. You have the power, you are in control. Remember to B_R_E_A_T_H_E and to love yourself. Your body is an amazing vehicle that will carry you to all sorts of places, for all sorts of adventures. What you are doing now is choosing to care for that vehicle and the lovely & unique spirit that resides in it. Best of luck!! emoticon
