July 12,2109 Making my way back after so many health issues. It seems like I have destroyed everything I accomplished since beginning my Spark journey. I know it isn’t completely true because I am a here and aware. 6 months ago I couldn’t even get out of bed for 10% of a month, and now thanks to some meds and a bit of self motivation I am moving and awake and present. I will gradually move towards the ultimate goal, for now one day at a time. Goals for this month: Drink my 8 cups of water daily, track my food daily and make my 5500 steps a day. Welcome back to Spark, Me! June 30, 2017 I have been away from SP for so long, working on mental health issues: mine, my daughter's and my mother's. I have struggled to just get out of bed, never mind get that run in or workout of any kind. PTSD and depression have been kicking my butt, but I am back and kicking back FINALLY! I am working on tracking my food, drinking my water and getting rid of 10% of my body weight. Slow and steady will win this race. April 13, 2012 I am so sick of the excuses, mine and other people's. I am going to do what i can to make mine and my children's lives healthier. Baby steps... I CAN DO THIS!!! Sept8, 2011 My Name is Annie and I'm a unhealthy-oholic. It's been 7 months since my last confession....oh wait...since I was last on SP. I am not proud of myself for being away so long. I however AM proud of being back. I am starting from scratch but that's OK...the point is...I AM starting!! I think I have to go and register for a 5K to get me motivated more!!! :) August31, 2010 Funny how this will probably change as I grow and become stronger. I am a 42 year old Mom, of a 14 year old boy and 10 year old girl. I am constantly working on bettering my life as much as I can. I have discovered that with patience, time and a lot of support from the SP community...ANYTHING is possible! I have learned that CONSISTENCY is key and that simple MATH concepts go a long way in the losing weight game....see kids...this is yet another reason to stay in school and get good grades in math! LOL July 16, 2010 I am a mother of 2, trying to get healthy and teach my kids how to do the same! I am looking more to find out how to permanently change the behaviour rather than understand the why's...I know I obviously have MAKE THEM STOP GODDAMMIT!!! Slow and easy wins the race....I hope!? :)
