My weight loss tips, ideas, vents, etc:
1) when you are not motivated to go to the gym put on your workout clothes anyway - its hard for me not to go once i have my clothes on.

2) drink lots and lots of water - mix it up with some crystal light. need help keeping track of how much water your drink? try different colored water bottles and drinking them in rainbow color order. if you have gone through 5 colors you know you have gone through 5 sports bottles.

3) dont keep your diet a secret - get your friends and family involved. the bigger support group you have the better :) your healthy lifestyle changes have a good chance of rubbing off on someone else.

4) keep a journal and take pictures of yourself along the way so you can track your progress.
my mind is constantly boggled how much i have changed since i have started.

My Goals:
my main goal is to get in shape and live a healthier lifestyle.
i want to be a good role model and i want to lead by example.

My Program:
i attend my local gym every week. i strive to make healthier eating habits. i watch what i eat and *care* what i put in my mouth. do i really *need* a huge handful of chips or will a couple do just fine? i have found that if i deny myself anything it will lead to my downfall so this isnt a diet.. rather a lifestyle change and its working.

my workouts include:

At Home I Use-

Horizon Elliptical machine model 3.3E
Its great having one in my living room to be able to move while watching fluff TV or movies

Total Gym which is great for toning
(best freebie from give away pile i've ever found!)

Bosu Ball which is great for core exercises and balance

Selection of Free Weights

At the Gym-
Treadmill - walk at an incline or jog/run

Elliptical machine for different strides and inclines..basically i get so use to the one at home they feel 'fun again' :)

Out and About-
Walking/Jogging to and from work
