I have to do this!!!

I can do this!!!

I am doing this!!!!!

I started Sparkpeople last year, thought I needed to surround myself with things that promoted weight lost. I figure I was bombarded with things about food and other negative images, So I was going to do something about it. So July 12, 2008 I hit 60 pounds down. So I am doing this and will continue to until I reach me 200 pound goal.

Keep me in prayer to get this next 80 off!!!

So here are my goals for the next hurdle!!

SW 268 Date 05-25-11

Next Goal 250 by July 4, 2011 So I did not make this goal but I am still plugging along, I am now 254 and hoping I meet my next goal of 200 by the new year!

Finish GW 200 Date 01-01-12

My Goals:
My goal is to be healthy, I have been on probably every diet under the sun chasing what I thought was ideal beauty, but now I know I am beautiful whether I am the size I was when I started which was a size 26 when I started or a size 12. I am currently in a size 18 but my goal is to be in a size 14. I am 6ft 3and sick of using my height as an excuse as to why I am so big.
I want to live to see my children have children and I can do it if I get healthy NOW!!

My Program:
I am currently trying to stay within my calories per day and doing at least 60 minutes or cardio a day along with strenght and weight training..

Personal Information:
I am 30 something years old from Philadelphia :) I am married with three beautiful children.

Other Information:
"Happiness keeps You Sweet, Trials keep You Strong, Sorrows keep You Human, Failures keep You Humble, Success keeps You Glowing, But Only God keeps You Going!"

A pocket is no place for a smile! – Blues Traveler

How many times have you been walking along and “caught” someone in a smile, almost like they were enjoying an inside joke with themselves? Many of us live tired, uptight and so stressed out, that we simply forget to breathe and enjoy the goodness all around us. When I leave the house each morning I do my best to set a chain reaction of smiles in motion. This week, I challenge you to do the same! Get those endorphins flowing, smile when you feel a frown and remember - Life is like a mirror, we get the best results when we smile at it.

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile so much as he who has no more to give. ~Author Unknown

Everyone has a success mechanism and a failure mechanism. The failure mechanism goes off by itself. The success mechanism only goes off with a goal. Every time we write down and talk about a goal we push the button to start the success mechanism. Charles 'Tremendous' Jones

What have you put in place to attain success? Are your goals attainable? Are they measurable? What will happen if you fall off the wagon? Everything is pie in the sky when we begin, but as time goes on the roadblocks will appear, frustration will attempt to set in, someone will be eating your favorite food less than a foot away from you and your willpower will tested. Addressed from the beginning your fool proof plan can prevent any of these things from happening. This is a new year, refine and build on what worked for you and toss out those old stagnant ideas that got you nowhere. As this new year begins, keep striving, keep pushing, keep moving and above all keep encouraging the people around you! Have a great week my lovelies!

The vision must be followed by the venture. It is not enough to stare up the steps - we must step up the stairs. Vance Havner

As a new year is upon us, most of us have begun to think about what we would like to do differently for 2009. I’m no exception, but while we look forward, let us not forget our past. We’ve had success in 2008 and should build on what we’ve learned and experienced as a foundation for our continued accomplishments in 2009… I want to be the first one to say I’m “So, Fine in 09” and I’m going to achieve my goals with the all of the tools I’ve placed in my toolbox, including you – not that you’re a tool emoticon , but you have been integral in everything that I’ve been able to accomplish thus far. So, from me to you - thank you and let’s continue to press forward towards our prize!

“We can change our lives. We can do, have, and be exactly what we wish.” ~ Anthony Robbins

“For, he that expects nothing shall not be disappointed, but he that expects much - if he lives and uses that in hand day by day - shall be full to running over.” -Edgar Cayce

We’ve got much to look forward to in the upcoming year! I’m cheering for you, know that you will achieve greatness, and wish you and yours continued success and prosperity!

    Happy Holidays,

It’s been a while since I’ve been on in full force, but I have missed every one of you. I hope that you are doing well in your quest to drop those pounds forever! Remember to reach out to your family and friends during this special time of year and let them know how much you care.

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” Leo F. Buscaglia

Take care and enjoy the season.

    P.S. you look amazing!
