    I've got the Birmingham joint too (had it installed in Tallahassee). It certainly feels OK....the old pain is gone. Every now and then I fell an odd click in there. Doc said that the muscles and ligaments need to tighten around the joint and that this will diminish over time.

    I have learn to live each day thankfully that I am alive. I have also learn exercises to use when I was in physical therapy and couldn't walk when those down times of not having enough energy to do the cardio on my wii. Thing is, we all have the ability to do some type of moment. Would anyone really wish to lose a bunch of weight fast? No, why? Ever think about how and where that extra skin would go? So by losing it the proper way and toning yourself, you are helping your body to snap back into place. You also will be learning what foods work for you, or those empty calories that taste good but aren't beneficial for your health. Bottom line you are learning to be your own Nutritionist & Physical Therapist.

    How is THAT for being put on a resume?

    By allowing yourself each day small goals each day, you also are rewarding yourself with great feel good rewards like SNAP FOR....which in a sense is CUDOS for doing something that makes you feel good about yourself.

    You turn the tables around and go..This is something that annoys me and by taking care of it, not counting on anyone else to do it, I know its done my way and I feel better because it is one less thing on my check list.

    The same goes with life style changes. I don't say I diet, I say I choose things in my life to make my life more healthy.

    Because am I going to stop doing what I am doing when I reach my goal? Um, No? So by creating a visual and mental note in my head, I am changing a habit from bad to good.

    I hope your day is going great, keep feeding your mind with positive notes, put in the blog what you want to accomplish, set out easy tasks that take what 10 mins of your time so not to overwhelm you. And you will start seeing wonderful changes both physically and emotionally in your daily life.

    Even those around you will start seeing them and comment from time to time in positive affirmations of praise in their own way.
