I am back at last. Its October 2013
Its an eventful year so far.
At the beginning of the year, I had put on 12lbs. Put on more since that.
But my bust size has remained the same and my hip size.
Waist went up though! Yuk!
Now its Autumn and I am beginning to lose again at last.
Been very busy, gardening, GD minding and my son came to stay.
My son has gone back to UNI. My GD has started school.
Busy knitting again and exercising, but not as much as I was.
Looking forward to being with my friends again.

My Program:
October 2013
Return after a long spark holiday.
Note: I did not close my page as I wanted to come back.

January 2013
I have joined the Winter 5% challenge and hope to lose 7lb which is 5% of my present weight.

I am sticking with the Mediterranean diet, but emphasizing more vegetarian food. I eat wholemeal wherever possible. Rape seed oil does not agree with me and its in just about everything that is ready made even Pesto! So I need to make more of my own food and bread with EVOO
I exercise every day, yoga, walk/run, aerobics, dancing with Strength training at least 3 times a week. Weight training, Ball exercises , Hula hoop, Kettlebell, 3lb Medicine ball with DH.
Use the Free Gym.
Hike at least once a week.
Gardening, my passion! Grow more vegetables and fruit!
Maintain the house and decorate. I am into DIY!

December 2010
I joined the 5% winter challenge team.
Feb 18th 2011
I have now lost over 3 stone

Hi Ellen, firstly, thank you for your kind comments on my page and also my blog.
Exercising indoors is really good and in reality, you don't need the gym!
I used the Wii fit for the first 15 months of my journey and along with food tracking on here I was 110lb's down in no time!
The thing for me was exercise alone wouldn't do it.
Diet alone wouldn't do it either, bother had to come together and add a large portion of food tracking and bingo!
It works and it's all good!
Believe me, you don't need expensive gym subscriptions, walking outdoors and exercising in will get the job done!
    Have a wonderful weekend,
    Chris.

    Hi Ellen,
Good to hear that the weight is moving again. It is a long long process and although there will be times when we fall off of the regime, we must never let it dent our long term goals.
It's all too easy to have an holiday, eat and drink more than we would normally do, and then think on our return " I can't go back to the gym" or "I find this so hard to count calories" etc. etc.
We have to put these things (each time) behind us and focus on what we want out of life and prioritise them.
A little at a time over a long time will see the job done. I have been at this (not all on here I hasten to add) for the last 18 months and at the start, I would have never envisaged me going this length of time, I would have normally given in by now. But I came to realise that this job is one for life and losing the weight is just the start. Maintaining it afterwards is the real job in hand.
It took a long time to get us to the weight we we're to make us want to shed it, and therefore it will also take a long time to get us back to where we want to be.
    Day 1 is a diet.
    Day21 is habit forming.
Day 90 is a lifestyle change.

Day 90 is where we need to get to to make the mental assessment and know that this fight is life long.
It doesn't have to be hard, it can be fun, satisfying especially when people comment on your look. What an incentive to strive for more?
Together we can and will do this. You just blog, blog about what you like, where you live, what your job is and how you find it, holidays, food you've tried, exercise anything at all. It feels so good when people leave remarks to, as it shows that they care and that you're not alone.
Your doing great, you will love yourself for doing this......................................
    ........................................ enjoy!
    Have a wonderful Thursday,
    Chris.

Hi, thank you for your comments on my blog.
Whereabouts in the UK do you live?
This site will get you passed the plateau and enable you to move forward with the weight loss.

Try and get into blogging yourself, I find that this stirs your own sub-c0ntious and helps make you aware of "where your at" on your own journey plus, we'd all like to hear about you!
    Have a nice evening,
    Chris.
