(June 27, 2013) I fell off for awhile, trying to balance full-time work with full-time school is quite a feat. So much for maintaining my weight loss, but I can do this...I will do this. SparkPeople helped me before, it/they will help me again.
(May 12, 2011) Wow...2 years with SparkPeople, and I am still going strong. I feel better than ever, and so happy with my lifestyle change. Exercise has become a part of my everyday life. I started running in Jan, 2010, and I am still loving it...I run every other day (I do my strength exercises on the off days). To date, I have run 6 races. I plan to average 1 race per month thru Fall.
I plan to maintain my weight loss FOREVER!! I don't ever want to "diet" again.
(Nov 24, 2009) I have proven to myself that I can lose back down to 140 lbs from 172. At this point, I am observing that I could stand to take off a little more...not much, though. So I have set another small goal to lose another 8 lbs. I am going to go about it in a way that I just want to at least maintain what I have already lost, but I am going to see if I can comfortably lose the other. So, here I go again...maybe it will get me through the holidays!!

(May 11, 2009) Let me explain "Tiki Wants to be a Loser"...I want to, need to lose 30 pounds. I am in my 40's and have had to watch my weight for all of my life...my first diet was in 7th grade. I would very much like to get my weight down and then maintain by eating wisely and exercising regularly.

My Goals:
1) lose 15-20 lbs (again)

2) maintain the weight loss by healthy eating and consistant exercise

3) get back to running and participating in races (what fun!!)

My Program:
Basically, I am using Spark to keep track of what I eat everyday, what exercises I do daily, and for educating myself on how to get healthier and then how to maintain that lifestyle.

I am married to my hubby for 5 years now. I have a son, 25, a daughter, 22, and a granddaughter, 2.
