Goodbye 2020 and Hello 2021!

I've made many improvements since January 1, 2010, when I first joined SparkPeople, and I'm still working to be a better me. This program helps me to focus more on my health, and I have made many great SparkFriends whose strength, motivation, and encouragement have helped me along this life journey.

Fitness Minutes: 70,259

My Goals:
~ Maintain my goal weight and a normal BMI, which was reached March 31, 2020.
~ Learn to choose and eat heathier foods for a life-long lifestyle -- more vegetables and less sugar.
~ Take time for daily creative play.
~ Keep a positive attitude.
~ Be at peace with myself and my surroundings.

My Program:
~ Earn Spark points by using web search to access "The Daily Motivator" on -- a wonderful resource!
~ Get at least 7 hours of sleep per night -- and try for 8!
~ Exercise for at least 30 minutes every day and average at least 45 minutes per day for the whole year.
~ Go for a walk at least 3 days per week.
~ Stay hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water a day.
~ Practice portion control without cutting out favorite foods.
~ Read Bible chapters, devotionals, motivational quotes, and positive articles daily.
~ Remember to be thankful for the progress I've made so far.

Personal Information:
~ I am a retired public librarian living in the hill country in Southcentral Texas.
~ I enjoy book arts, mixed-media collage, calligraphy, reading, poetry, gardening, and tea.
~ I have five grandchildren, ages 14-20, miss them terribly, and I look forward to seeing them again after my vaccination waiting period ends.

    On your NUTRTION page...where you see the breakfast lunch dinner snack the end by PROTIEN click more nutrients and it tell you how to do it... I copied and pasted it for you:

    On this page we focus on 4 key nutrients – calories, carbohydrates, fat, and protein. However, you have the option to track over 75 other nutrients.

    If you would like to add more nutrients you can click the “Change Nutrition Goals” button at the very top center of this myNutrition page. After adding nutrients, you can see your detailed tracking either:

    -At the bottom left of this myNutrition page (this is at the very bottom, by scrolling all the way down)
    -By clicking the “See Today’s Full Report” at the bottom right of this myNutrition page

    I like your status about decluttering your arts & crafts room! I have all my supplies in the walk-in closet. I so need to get in there and clean up...but, I'm afraid I might get lost! emoticon
