I'm an attention-whore like that. ;)

Well, I revamped this section. Why?

Because I want to be more accepting and loving of who I am. Am I a number? Nope. Am I a waist size? No way!

I'm a happy camper, ready for action, always wanting to try new things. I cannot be contained within a box. :)

So now for the real stuff.

I've been active/semi-active on SP for probably close to 3 years. While I haven't seen HUGE changes in numbers, I've seen huge strides in my habits. Better eating, more positive self-talk and motivation that never ends.

Staying with SP has helped me realize that I'm not alone in feeling frustrated or helpless at times. It makes me smile. I only hope that SparkPeople will make others smile as well.

Fitness Minutes: 52,357

My Goals:
Goals!?!? What are those? Just kidding, of course.

I've newly adopted the Eat-Clean way of life. It's as difficult as I want it to be, but I'm determined to make it NOT difficult.

My Program:
*winter-I usually slack off a few months and pick it back up in late December. Focusing on core strength and overall body tone.

Dropping weight in winter seems easier because I don't need to fuel for the long runs.

*summer-I am currently in my high mileage training of what I like to call "Marathon Season". That means that I run anywhere from 30-45 miles a week. With a long run of at least 12 miles and as many as 23 miles on the weekend.

This combined with 2-3 days of strength training keeps me spent. Which is just how I like it :)

Personal Information:
Born and raised in Iowa. I would never leave Iowa, even though some might find it boring, I love it.
