So I guess I should update this a little bit since it's been about 4 months since I have been on here! My name is Laura and I am a 23 year old R.N. looking for a job! I have gained about 15 pounds in the last year most likely due to a lot of stress that was going on in my life. I graduated with my 4 year degree in May of 2008 and jumped right into an accelerated nursing program which I have just finished as of August! Now that I do not have my schedule lined up for me, I am going through some struggles. In the past month I have felt depressed, mainly because I desperately want to find a job. What doesn't help the situation is that I sit home all day alone and that really bothers me. So what do I turn to? Food! I have been doing a lot of snacking lately and as a result have seen my weight creep to 128lbs. I once dreaded seeing 120 on the scale and now I'm fearing 130. I have decided to refocus myself to studying for the NCLEX extensively and getting on a schedule. This past week I established that. I no longer feel winded when I work out, but satisfied and happy afterwards. As much as I hate overexerting myself, I think you just need to do those extra 10 minutes even if it kills you. Now my body is adapted and I can finally enjoy working out again!! SO here's to a new beginning (again)!!

Gym 6 days a week, usually on the elliptical. I'm trying to mix it up with classes at the gym as well (spinning, kickboxing, zumba).

I use the Biggest Loser Strength and Sculpt workout for my ST.
