Hi, I've been using SparkPeople on and off for many years but Jan 2017 when both my grandmothers died, I really decided that I wanted to grow old and be healthy. Both of them lived to almost 90s and I'm in my thirties and I felt older than them. I started with just trying to eat healthier then I realized counting calories would probably be better and I realized I was still eating an enormous amount for my height and weight. So I started tracking calories and I've been tracking calories for a little close to a year. I still track my calories but mostly through meal plans so not a constant day-to-day thing. Like I have set foods programmed for a certain amount of calories but when I eat something different, I'll track that meal. I really lack motivation to exercise and one of the main reasons I've come back to SparkPeople is to get motivation to exercise and it's working. πŸ€— March 10, 2018= I've been struggling the last two weeks with joint pain, irritability, insomnia and extreme hunger. My thyroid has been going crazy. Instead of running away from my problems, I'm leaning in, I need some support. Thank you Spark for always being there. June 5, 2018 = 167lbs. I lost 100lbs! Having difficulties once again with motivation to exercise. September 22: Thyroid issues again but back on track. Doing classes at the gym, watching calories, reducing saturated fat, sugars. Trying to avoid binge foods! 176lbs
