Well I am doing a block challenge. I am on week 3 now. I started it because I found myself getting stuck in a rut. So I decided to give myself a small mini goal. I decided to challenge myself to a block walk/jog challenge, were I wanted to start small and work myself up to a bigger challenge so I started with my first week jogging a minimum of 1 block, and then the next week I work my way up to 2 blocks and so on and if I feel like running more than I run/walk/jog more and this way at least I am doing something everyday (or just about). I am on week 3 now and last night I jogged 2 and 1/2 miles. I start my weeks every Sunday. I find it really enjoyable. My hope is to someday work up to a 5K. Anyway I love doing this and I love jogging in my neighborhood. It gives me a nice view and I can jog all over and different in directions if I choose to mix it up a bit. In the last 4 days I have lost 1.6lbs. Yeah me. Wish me luck
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I will be working. Which means I will be logged on to sparkpeople. I love working on the weekends. It is a lot less stressful in the hospital. So I am on for 3 days. I also joined this weight loss challenge at work. Me and 3 of my coworkers signed up as a team. So whoever wins at the end of April or I guess which ever team loses the most weight the first team gets $500, 2nd gets $400, 3rd gets $300. I just have to say that I work really closely with my team mates and I plan on encouraging them all so much to stay motivated and win this challenge. I plan on coming in 1st place. Then at the end of the year, which ever team maintains the most weightloss gets an additional $400, 2nd gets $300 and 3rd gets $200. I am so excited. I plan on doing so much for my team. I am first of all going to get them signed up with and then I am going to get everyone a notebook and I plan on motivating them with weekly mini goals and emails. Anyway, wish me luck. Some other team all ready said they were going to beat my team so now I have even more motivation to stay on top of things.
So in the last few hours of 2007 I find myself looking back at my achievements. Lets see I had a baby (My 4th, well 1 year ago) I have lost 50 of the 60lbs that I gained from that pregnancy, I have received 2 raises at my job, I had a excellent review at my annual, my 5 year old started kindergarten (my 3 year cried about that one) my family got out first dog, Pedro, and so many other things happened as well as some minor set backs. However 2008 is gonna be my year. I am going to find a way to make this the most prosperous year ever. My ultimate goal is to find structure and balance. I plan on being the most healthy that I can be and I plan on making good decisions and making the best out of stressful situations. I will conquer this year the very best that I can. I also plan on reading more and going back to school.

So I just read the label on the Wilcox eggnogg and it has 4 servings in it for a total of 760 calories and 40 grams of fat. and 440 mg of sodium. Ahhh, that is so much. So I thought I would share this info with everyone just incase ya'll like eggnogg like I do.
Well since August I have lost about 15 lbs, however I did gain 5 lbs. Gosh that is not very good. But at least I am still in the game.
I have made a plan for the holidays, which is no latte's and no candy or pie. For me it is just better if I just try to cut them off for the holidays. That way I can enjoy my holidays and not have to worry about New Years and that resolution about weight loss. I can have a new New Year resolution. Hmm, now I have something to think about. Maybe a new love interest. Oh nope, im married, never mind that one. Sure did sound good though.
So I am more focussed than ever right now. I mean on my weight loss. I cant wait to be hot again, and this time I will enjoy it, rather than not even notice. I plan on maintaining my weight loss this time and for life. I am getting tired of having babbies , getting fat and then it taking so much time to get back into shape. I love my title. It cracks me up! I tell ya, I love to laugh. Laughter makes the world a better place. This website has been really helpful for me. Before I thought I was eating pretty healthy, but there was times when I would be hungry and snacking or sampling food while I was looking for something to eat, not realizing all of the calories I was putting in my mouth. I have lost a significant amount of weight after I had my 3rd child. I really can't explain it. I was eating good and working out regularly, but for some reason the weight was just falling off. Everytime I stepped on the scale it was like "Shoot another 3lbs gone" But for some reason after the 4th baby it has taken a little longer. I did gain a little more (well about 30lbs more) weight with the 4th baby. But I am so focussed now! And back on track for good. I miss the compliments. I mean I am a women and what women doesnt like to hear how good they look.

I have 4 beautiful girls - Mikayla 8, Savant'e 5, Janessa 2 and HannaH 6mo.
Sometimes it is hard to find time to work out from being so busy with work. So the baby weight is taking a little longer than I had originally expected. Still working on it.

My Goals:
My numero uno goal is to be healthy. I really hate having any extra fat on my body. I don't carry extra fat very well. I look okward. I mean I am already 5'10", I have red hair and pale skin, so being fat is just the topping on the cake for me.

My Program:
Inorder to lose the weight I mainly focus on low calorie and cardio. And because of my husband I have to focus on my core. I am a treadmill/elliptical queen. I am addicted to the machines. I feel as if I may gain weight if I don't do cardio.

Personal Information:
I am from Olympia, Washington, born and raised here. I love living in Washington its beautiful here. I have been with my husband for the past 6 years. His name is omm'A and he is 6'11" and he has a championship under his belt from UCLA basketball '95. He is in super great shape and has a beautiful body and of course zero issues with weight. He can be hard on me sometimes about my appearence, but I guess I wouldnt want him to be over weight either. Together we have 4 beautiful daughters. My second oldest daughter is going to be in Kindergarten this September 07. My almost 3 year old is semi crazy and semi sweet. I am completely in love with my 7 month old, HannaH Mae. MUAH!
