I'm Jem and I'm ready to get healthy. Like everyone else, I've been at this on and off for my whole life. This time feels different. I follow a low carb diet of 50g (give or take a few) of carbs a day. I've never been so happy and satisfied with a lifestyle change before and I believe I can do this long term. I have PCOS and hypoglycemia, and I also have advanced osteoarthritis which makes movement very painful and difficult but I'm trying to not let it stop me anymore. The only way this will improve is by getting this weight off and I have no other option. I'm scared of dying young, I have been obese since childhood and if not now, when? I'm in it for the long haul so I'd love to make some good friends here. Let's motivate and support each other. We are all worth it, and there's no time like the present. My Goals:
Drink 160 oz of water every day
No bread/grains
Low carb (40-60g carbs per day)
Exercise every day (10,000 steps of combination walking/dancing)

My Program:
I cook 3 meals every day. I avoid all breads and grains and quite enjoy my new lifestyle, although it requires a lot of kitchen time but it gets me off the couch.
