Hi, I'm Sherry! I'm 43 and have 40 pounds to lose. I'm a shorty at only 5 feet tall. I live in Tyler, Texas. Feel free to add me as a friend! We all need support. :) I have had MANY life changes, but these aren't excuses, but reasons as to why I admit that I have turned to food for comfort in sadness, happiness and stress. I lost my job, went through a break up, Son went to college and my Granddaughter was born to name a few. I'm ready to focus and concentrate on a lifetime commitment of change for a healthier way of living. I am ready to start walking again despite the heat that melts us here in Houston, Texas and eat healthier and FOCUS on this life change that starts with what I put into my body and ends with how I feel about myself as a result of it. It all starts in your own heart. We are all beautiful! ALL OF US!!! Life is beautiful. God is good! God Bless You!!! I can use the encouragement and friends on sparkpeople. I seem to always find my way back here since I joined in 2007. It's a beautiful thing that we do this together with friendship, support, acceptance and no judgements. ________________ *If you do not love yourself totally, and fully, somewhere along the way you learned not to. Other Information:
Studying Gods word has really helped me. I lost my job and went through a horrible break up. I has been the craziest year of my life in many ways. I was lost and depressed and I'm never like that. I feel renewed mentally and spiritually and want my body to match - if that makes sense. I know it'll take time and effort and I'm fully prepared to do what it takes to make the changes in my life in every way needed to obtain peace. I will not allow anymore negative people or thinking in my life. I think we have to love ourselves first before we can work on ourselves. I don't know, maybe it's me getting older and wiser about myself, but I definitely feel different than this time last year. I think putting my foot down and taking responsibly for myself has helped make me stronger.

"Direct yourself, consistently and persistently, toward the places, situations, experiences, people and results that you wish to have in your life.
You have more than enough energy, opportunities and ability, when focused in a specific direction, to achieve whatever you choose.
So choose to choose. Decide how your life will be, this hour, this day, this year, this century, and live the true richness of making it happen."
