Hi everyone!!

I have been on Spark for a few years now. I have been pretty inactive for the last 3 or 4 years. I had a serious reality check in February of 2013. I looked in the mirror and the face I saw I did not recognize!! My face had gotten FAT and I realized that I was in denial about my weight. I had a scale and had a sneaky suspicion that it was lying to me. Although my clothes were getting a bit snug that lying scale kept saying I hadn't gained any weight!! Well I bought a new scale at the end of February and I was shocked and appalled to see that I was bigger than my highest pregnancy weight!! I ventured in the 300 land!! Yes! I weighed in at 303.9 pounds!! I decided to take my life back and try to get some control.

I began working out regularly but still had to get the eating under control. The eating is still not super controlled as of July 23, 2013 but it is better than it has been in that I have learned to eat a serving of a sweet/unhealthy food instead of eating it until I couldn't eat anymore. I rarely drink soda - maybe a sip or two a week. I drink at least 100 to 115 oz of water each day. I workout at least 4 times a week at home by doing BeachBody programs.

More importantly I have learned to make smaller goals instead of looking at the BIG picture. I am learning to make 5 to 10 pound weight loss goals as opposed to looking at I NEED to lose 120 pounds. Right now I have been building muscle as my clothes have gotten a little loose and I have only lost 13 pounds but I am happy with that. My next goal is to lose 12 pounds by September 5, 2013. I can see the forest and not just trees. I am back and I do myfitnesspal as well as several weight loss groups on Facebook. I just wanted to update this and say I'M REALLY BAAACKK!

My Goals:
My goals include decreasing the amount of junk food I eat. I love sweets and will eat them before food.

My other goals are to decrease the amount of carbs I eat since I am addicted to them and because of a hormone imbalance they stick to me so I have to eat them in serious moderation but not elimination.

My short term goal is to get out the 270's and back to 250 which is what I weighed when I moved to NYC in June 2003.

My goal is to lose weight in 5 pound increments at 1 - 2 pounds a week for a total of 4 - 8 pounds a month.

My long term goal is to get to 180 but my dream goal is to get to just under 160 pounds to be at a healthy BMI which would be around 157 - 158 pound

My Program:
My program is to follow a low-carb eating plan because of PCOS and eat 1400 to 1600 calories per day in 5 small meals.

Workout for at least 30 minutes 5 days a week on my gazelle.

Walk for 30 minutes during my lunch hour 3 days a week now that the weather is not so hot.

    Yep, we bought a field and built a house on it. It was stressful but doing it the same time as planning a wedding was just crazy. I work well under pressure so I managed. I did all the general contracting myself so it was a huge job combined with planning a wedding myself! We got through it. No, the house isn't 100% yet. Inside is mostly done, still have some trim but that will probably get done this weekend. The outside is another story. I had the finish grade done this past weekend so I'm hoping the grass comes up by the party. The brick is about 50% done, so we're working on that. I wrote a blog today that has some pics of the house in it if you want to check it out.

    So, 9lb baby huh? If your daughter was long then chances are your son will be too. So where r u living now, I think you were moving last time we talked?

    Hey girl, good to hear from you. Ready to meet your little boy huh??? Thats so exciting, I'm sure your MORE than ready if your over due huh? Married life is about the same as unmarried life... except my last name changed. We finally are living in the new house (were you aware we are building a new house?). We moved in about 3 months ago but it was far from finished. Its getting there now. Mostly done inside except for some trim and closet doors... but outside is another story. Just finally got the final grade done and hubby is working on getting the brick on. He's about 1/2 way done but truthfully he's so beat from working all day and night for the last year. We are planning a house warming/1 year anniv. party for 9/26. Its going to be huge, over 200 people invited to my house... yes I'm crazy! So how about you? Whats new with you? When were you due to have your son? Hows the hubby and your little girl?
