Napoleon Hill once said, Within every adversity is the seed of an equal or greater opportunity or advantage. The way to deal with temporary failure is to seek with in each set back for the valuable lesson that it contains. Approach every difficulty as if it were sent to you at that moment and in that way to teach you something you need to learn so you can continue moving forward.

Life is an adventure.

All that is really useful to us can be bought for little money; it is only the superfluous that is put up for sale at a high price. All that is really offered us as a gift by the immortal gods. We are allowed to watch the sun rise and set, the clouds sailing along in the sky, the forests and the fields, the glorious sea, all without spending a penny. The birds sing to us for nothing, the wild flowers we may pick as we are walking along by the roadside. There is no entrance fee to the starlit hall of the Night.

~ Axel Munthe

Other Information:
I am going to learn to play a Mountain Dulcimer.

I love playing the Native American flute. .
I enjoy watercolor painting. I enjoy the challenge of achieving detail with watercolor in wildlife art.
I love to travel and will be doing more as I get healthier.

No problem on the delay in getting back to me. Obviously we are from opposite ends of the state of Ohio. I moved to Colorado and stayed there 47+ years, have been in Oregon just over a year now. I don't know where you are moving to, but wherever it is good luck - be safe - and don't stay away from Spark too long. I'd love to hear of your moving adventures after you get settled and finally come up for air!

I was scanning through parts of the Paranormal team's site and found one regarding books. And I found a post you made, oh, about 7 years ago, asking if anyone was a Zecharia Sitchen fan. As a matter of fact, we have almost all his books and appreciate his extensive scholarship; we (hubby and I) learned so much from his work. And we continue to explore that whole topic with some of the ongoing TV series. Just wondered if you are still interested or following the subject. We could be two of a kind on this subject - maybe??

It's nice to met you now through the Paranormal General Chat thread. I look forward to getting acquainted. Also wondered what part of Ohio you are in and what to you away and to where. I grew up in Parma (outside Cleveland) and graduated from Capital University in Columbus. I moved to Colorado in 1967 and to Oregon in 2014. Best wishes as you continue you journey to health.

Years ago when my Pomeranian's were alive, it seemed that there for a while one or the other would have stomach issues and bowel trouble. My vet at the time told me when this happen to take them off their regular food and feed them Boiled Hamburger and Rice only and until the diarrhea had stopped. Plus I would give them Pepto- Bimol It really worked . Now years later I still get the hamburger and rice going when I notice Emma is having stomach issues. The Boiled Hamburger and Rice have all of the nutrients the dogs needs for short term and is super bland on the stomach
