15th January 2018
2017 was a yoyo year, not least because of my broken ankle in late August. Up until then, the weightloss was steady, 15 pounds down. At first, this stayed off, maybe because of the extra weight with the surgical boot, but when the boot came off and the pain remained, the weight came back on... then my wellbeing suffered and I stayed away. The end of the year was not too bad, in that no more weight came on, but I needed the first two weeks of the new year to psych myself up for the SP comeback. Ankle still not right, but regardless, I can do this! So here I am....

23rd March 2017. Started the year well, but lots has been happening and so ed to refocus in order to make those pounds melt away faster. Exercise is doing great things to my physique, but need to translate that success into my weight and clothes size! The 5% Spring Challenge should help me do just that, as long as I track my food, easing off the fats and sodium....

21st October 2016. This year has been hectic in so many ways so far, but I'm back on the straight and narrow, even in France!
I started back at a gym in January in preparation for my hysterectomy in March. I took time out for 3 months but returned there after 11 weeks. My weight has yo-yoed but I am fitter and have a new fitness program that I can use in the UK gym or here at home in France! 1 pound heavier now than at January 1, no big deal. I will still have lost a sensible amount of weight by December 31 and be much fitter too.

Been there, done it so many times I've lost count. Over the last 3 years have been yoyoing in the right vague direction. Time now to stop the yoyoing and live the slim life permanently. Life has been gradually improving in lots of ways. I need to confirm this in all areas of my life......

20th November 2007, it's all slowed down and needs re-starting!! I need to revise my goals. My goal weight of 168 pounds is attainable by 10th march 2008, my next birthday, so here goes...
After that it's heading for 160 pounds!!

2008 has started and so has my re-birth in SP terms. Want to lose another 20-30 pounds in 2008, having managed to lose and keep of 20 pounds in 2007. I want to lose at least the first 10 by my birthday, which is 10th March, so that is attainable. Tracking, exercising, lots of water and posting on the threads is the way ahead.....

2008 started so-o-o well!! Then it went right downhill, and back to square 1. Want to lose those 20-30 pounds, but somehow the motivation is lacking somewhat. I know the weather's no excuse, but it's easier to just sit here chatting and posting rather than get off my backside and exercise properly.....

28th March, well those 3 months went by, and the weight went down and up again, so 2 days ago decided to take the bull by the horns and have another fresh start. Beauty makeover and photo session booked for 17 weeks time, so something to aim for!!

11th August 2012. It's been a bit up and down again! I still haven't given up though because I know that it can be done and I CAN do it!!

Ok, so 2015 wasn't a complete washout. 8 pounds down since May is the right direction, albeit slow. 2016 WILL be better!

    I was definitely six - born April 1960.

    Seems like quite a few parallels in our lives. I managed to break my arm three times as a child. Once when I was about 3, once when I was 4, and again when I was 7 or 8. I can remember each time clearly.

    Gratitude

    I am really grateful to have my flowers growing in my garden, love them. I water them every morning

    after my Dumbbell workout which I truly enjoy too and am grateful I saw these dumbbells from our local gym at a reduced rate but never knew if I'd use them but so glad I have them and love working out with them. I am also grateful how the exercises have changed my arms and my middle, love it.

    Of course I am grateful my Mum in Law is in a better mood today as yesterday when she woke she said 'she wished she was dead'. Oh dear we all have less happy days but I could understand but wouldn't allow her to suffer with it and we made sure she felt very spoilt and that she could make the most of her day.

    Very grateful for my hubby Antony who is doing his 8th day working in a row today but is then off for 4 days this week, hopefully at end of those days I will still be happy with him! 😆😉
