I have just come to terms with my extra pounds and inches. I wasn't happy with the way I looked and was allowing it to carry me to the dark side. My negative attitude was affecting everything in my life.

Recently my younger sister, who was much heavier than me, had a sort of intervention with me. It was unpleasant to listen to, but I knew she was right. This week I began to wear form fitting clothes instead of "tents." It has been liberating.

We all get depressed about our progress from time to time, but don't let that define you. It's a battle for all of us, or we wouldn't be here. Start over every day if you have to, and one day it will become a habit to do the things that will help you achieve your goals. It's all about consistency, but don't shoot yourself in the foot if you have an off day.

YOU CAN DO THIS! We are all here to help support and encourage you. Lean on us.
