Hi! My name is Moni and welcome to my SparkPage!!! After my second son was born, my weight was out of control. One day reading an article in a Woman's magazine there was a write-up on SparkPeople. I logged on but did not really work the program. Well one day I was fed up with being fed-up and started working the program. My heaviest weight was well over 275 lbs. At first I would drink water. Then I worked on eating fruits and veggies. I would do 10 mins of exercise daily and now I am up to 60 mins. plus of activity. I also sign up for 5K races during the season!!! From a Couch Potato to Walk/Jogging 5Ks!!! I know I still have more work to do but I love the way I feel!! I love that I have energy and I love that I have a smile on my face from ear to ear. If I can do it - so can you. I am working on the new me one baby step at a time. So join me on this awesome journey. You won't regret it!! Take care of yourself, Hugs, Moni :-)

Hello Moni! Want to be my Downsize buddy? I'm also from Jersey, originally. I was born in Union, grew up in Freehold down in central NJ, and went to Girl Scout Camp up near Newton/Sparta (is that near you?). Have a great challenge even if we aren't buddies!

Hello Moni! How are you doing? Getting your garden ready? If you can believe it, I'm trying to grow lettuce and carrots. Oh, and strawberries. I think I have the watering problem worked out, so they should all do better, because I said so! So there! HA!

It has been a lovely spring. It is in the low 80's today and looks like we will have low 90's tomorrow. Wish it would hold off a bit longer, but we just aren't in control of that, are we?

The gym has re-opened here and I think the pool may have re-opened this week. I sure hope so, I have missed my pool time. Now I'm struggling with getting to the gym on a regular basis. I was doing so well and then covid closed everything. Ah well, I did it once, I can do it again.

I hope May will be awesome for you. emoticon

    A LINED sea through suit?
I hope the manufacturer got a ton of complaints.

Thank you for reading my blog re that fictitious “team” and sharing your story
My GF had a similar experience in a white unlined suit. Oops!
That commercial definitely represented the low point in advertising objectifying women and the backlash was welcome and justified. Finding Spark and staying connected changed my life for the better
