In spirit of the blog i wrote today (March 24, 2010) I am posting my new goals here:

2010 Goals:
To run a 10k on June 20th
To do Yoga 3x a week
To go to bed by 10:30 every night
To not relapse back to drinking coffee
To drink 4 liters of water every day
To let my inhibitions go and just enjoy my tennis lessons
To spend my birthday weekend at the beach
To try a new recipe every week

And my reward? A healthy body & mind.

No material thing is going to drive me further in obtaining my goals. Im either committed to them or not. A new purse or new shoes aren't going to change my day to day actions enough to justify them. If I deserve and desire new things - chances are I will buy them anyway. So setting them as a reward for a goal I may not have met is futile.


When you know that life will still be waiting for you tomorrow--no matter what--it gives you the freedom to make today count as much as possible. "Someday" is right now. Anytime. And that can be exciting, if you let it.

Im 26 live in Kitchener, Ontario Canada. I am married to a wonderful guy. I have 2 cats but no Kids :(. I am looking to lose 40 lbs. I have been heavy my whole life but i have actually lost some weight from when i was my heaviest (200 lbs). I currently weight 141 lbs.

I started jenny craig with a friend May 8th 2009 and started my own program on Sept 13th 2009.

I am an accountant for Dominos Pizza and really like my job.
I enjoy cake decorating and hanging out with my DH.

Weekly JC Weigh In's:
May 7 starting weight = 175.0
May 14 = 174.0 (1 lbs lost)
May 21 = 174.0 (no change)
May 28 = 171.0 (3 lbs lost)
June 3 = 171.2 (I think the scale lied today lol)
June 10 = 168.4 (2.8 lbs lost)
June 17 = 168.8 (.4 lbs gained)
June 24 = 166.6 (2.4 lbs lost :))
July 3 = 162.2 (3.4lbs lost !!!)


July 10 = 160.2 (2lbs lost)
July 17 = 162.8 (2.6 lbs gained)
July 24 = 158.8 (4 lbs lost)
July 31 = 158.6 (0.2 lbs lost)
Aug 7 = 156.8 (1.8 lbs lost)
Aug 14 = 154 (2.8 lbs lost)
Aug 21 = 154 (no change)
Aug 28 = 152.6
Sept 4 (Goal 150lbs) = 150.4 (goal met YAY)
Sept 11 = 147.6


SW - Sept 13 2009 145 lbs, 43lbs fat, 29% bf
GW - Dec 5th 2009 130lbs, 28lbs fat, 2.15%bf

Week 1 - Sept 18 - 147.8 lbs
Week 2 - Sept 25 - 146 lbs
Week 3 - Oct 2 - 144lbs (143lbs at home)
POPEYES WI OCT 3rd - 144.5lbs (up 1lbs muscle, down .5lbs of fat - except i had eaten a full meal right prior to w.i.)
Week 4 - Oct 9
Week 5 - Oct 16
Week 6 - Oct 22 - Popeyes WI 141lbs (105lbs lbm, 36lbs bf, 25.5% bf)
Week 7 - Oct 30
Week 8 - Nov 6 - WI at JC 139.4! met my original JC goal!
Week 9 - Nov 13
Week 10 - Nov 20
Week 11 - Nov 27
Week 12 - Dec 4

Goals and Rewards
current weight 147 (sept 11 2009)

Goal weight 1 - 164 ~ reward - new Guess Purse adn wallet and shirt - Goal acheived July 3rd!

Goal weight 2 - 150 (Goal Date Sept 5) ~ reward - express redi-set-go cooker (that infomercial gets me everytime) - Goal acheived Sept 5 2009!

Goal weight 3 - 130 lbs ~ my goal weight is tricky because im currently lifting a lot of weights. My body fat weight now is 43lbs and i want to lose 15lbs of body fat - but i wont know how much muscle i will gain... so my goal weight may fall somewhere in between 130-135 lbs i think. At this point it more about my bf% then the # on the scale.

Eat as clean as possible - i have Tosca Reno's book and cook book.

Birkram Yoga - 3x a week
Run - 3x a week
Strength train - 1-2x week
Tennis - 1-2x a week

I have given up coffee in favour of green tea.

My supplements include a Prenatal multivite, fish oil, & calcium.

I started at 200lbs then lost 25 on my own. Then I joined Jenny Craig and Sparkpeople at the same time and lost 40lbs. I have regained a few of them and I am working on exceeding my prior loss.

    Sara... it's soo good to see you back on here!! I knew you were on vaca, but I couldn't remember how long it was for, so I began to wonder if you left. You were pretty determined tho, so somehow I knew you didn't. I'm so sorry you broke your wrist, how aweful! I've never broken a bone, so I don't know how much that hurt, but I can sure imagine it was very bad. I hope you heal up soon!!!

    Thanks for your comment on my blog. It's definitely going to take some more tears and more time, but I'm sure I'll get to a place where I can remember Jacub's good times.
