I am a 28 year old single mother of an amazing 5 year old boy. I was always on the larger size but never really over weight until after high school, some where between the lack of exercise and bad relationships I let myself slip into a horrible state of emotional eating. I have been a vegetarian on and off for about 10 years but about 3 months ago I went back to it permanently this time (too many scary documentaries on Netflix! lol). I used to pride myself on my strength both physical and mental, that is probably the thing I miss the most, that and of course size 10 jeans lol. Anyway I am on this journey to find the strong confident girl I used to be and turn her into the woman I long to become.

I reached my original goal weight of 170lbs in June 2012, and have since lost an additional 5lbs. My goal for 2013 is to lose another 20lbs and reach 145lbs. I am smaller now than I ever was in high school and I love my new body, strength, and lifestyle. I can finally say I am proud of myself again!

***Update 2/7/2016****
...well it happened, I got all happy and in love and gained back the majority of my weight. I kept blaming the extra pounds that kept creepy on my hips and thighs on the hetic lifestyle that comes with having a larger family, but the truth is I got lazy and lost my self disapline. I still have a lot of emotions to deal with when it comes to my weight and I think part of my gain is do to that. When I was thin I always wondered if Jason would still want me if he had met me when I was fat, maybe I was testing that? But here I am 219.6 pounds engaged to the love of my life and he doesn't even care about my size. I am going to do this again! I will get my strength, endurance, self discipline, and pride in myself back once again, and more importantly make it last!

Cardio 5-6 days a week 50-70 mins, strength training 3 days a week
