Thanks for stopping by! My name is Tabitha. I am a 25 year old mother and wife. Keeping up with my eight year old is becoming increasingly difficult thus I am going to start taking care of myself so I can better care for my family! I have been up and down on this weight loss roller coaster and I'm sick of it. It's way passed time for me to get serious already. I want to be healthy, not just thin. At my heaviest I was 235 which is a number I promise myself I will never see again. With a long line of cardiovascular problems in my family I can't let this continue. I want to be able to run around with my grandchildren when that time comes! Right now I am 225 pounds. My goal is to reach 160 by November. I want to feel better about myself. I want to be proud of finally overcoming this life long battle. I want to be a good example for my son. And I want to prove to myself that I CAN!

I am working out with Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds videos. I really really enjoy it. I haven't been this sore since I was in high school P.E.! Ha! The diet I am following is sort of my own concoction. I am doing the Special K diet for breakfast and lunch and at dinner I am trying to eat a lower fat, lower calorie meal. The SP guidelines say I should consume between 1400-1700 calories. And that is basically what my plan is. I'm sure it will be modified along the way. I want to incorporate more fruits in my diet. That is the one thing I seem to always be lacking.

I can do this! I know I can! I can never have too many friends so drop me a line if you want! Let's cheer each other on!

Here are my mini- goals:

Start: January 6, 2009 225lbs

Goal: 160lbs by November 2009- that's losing 1.5 lbs every week.

Goal: 1/27/09 - 220.5 ACHIEVED~ 1/13/09!

My Program:
I am limiting my calories to between 1400-1700 and exercising every morning with the Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds videos. I strength train every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with her Firm Off video as well.



Personal Information:
I am currently residing in Florida but will be moving back home to Texas in just a few more months and I can't wait!

    OMG do I understand. I could not keep anything down the first 25 weeks. It was AWFUL and I kept losing weight. But finally I gained some. I wouldn't be concerned. I had a stock-pile of spare pounds. LOL!! I'm still holding on to my stock pile. My dad got here today, so I'm hoping that he'll keep me pretty busy. Aaron has a "father-in-law" to do list in hopes that my dad will feel useful!

    Mason is finally sleeping through the night, but I'm not going to say it's official because it's only been the last two nights. LOL!!! He's getting big. Kara is doing great. Big girl she is! I cannot believe it. Aaron leaves this Sunday EARLY in the morning. I'm a little apprehensive about this whole thing, but I know that I'll make it through with some whiskey and prayers. Not necessarily in that order!!! LOL!!

    All I can say is that I'm in love with my Wii Active Trainer. I've only done 2 workouts.. I'm on my 4th day and I can't wait to workout tonight. i've never been excited to work out... ahahahah .. but it's fun and quick and I get such a good workout. The last workout I did was awesome. I love how it's different everytime and I have a "trainer" there guiding me. And It's raining here, so I'm even happier I got it. And when Aaron is gone this summer, in 2.5 weeks he leaves for a month, I'll be able to keep on my workouts and maybe when he gets back I'll be uber hot! LOL

    Get the kids to bed and get my butt working out! Oh yeah! And on my rest days I'll mow our huge ass lawn. I'm not goign to weigh or measure myself again until after my 30-day challenge. I took my measurements yesterday --- the inches that is --- and it was bleeping scary. So hopefully i'll lose something somewhere. NOW if only I can get the eating under control! LOL!!!!!!!

    The Wii Active was fun and challenging. I like it because it has a training program that designs the workouts for me and I don't have figure out what to do.
