The message on my answer machine asks people two questions - 1.) Please tell me who you are; and 2.) What do you want? To some, the answers to these questions may seem obvious, but most people go their whole life without knowing who they are and what they want out of life. I can tell you I am a mom, a wife, and a business affairs manager for a major media company, but does that really define who I am?? Honestly I am a woman who believes that anything in life is possible and if you can dream it, you can achieve it and I would love to help others believe in their dreams by leading by example!

Please know that every thought we think is creating our future and everyone suffers from some form of self-hatred and guilt. Thoughts are very powerful, the good thing is that it is only a thought and a thought can be changed. Basically change the thought and the feeling must go! Although it seems simple, you have to constantly be mindful of your thoughts and when a negative thought enters your head, turn it right around. Self-approval and self-acceptance in the now are the keys to positive changes. How many times have you looked in the mirror and told yourself "I love you"? Well, I had NEVER done it in my life until a couple of months ago. When we really love ourselves, everything in our life works!

I challenge you to find out who you really are and what you want out of life.

My Goals:
*Lose 40lbs -- GOAL REACHED
*Increase my overall physical fitness and strength --- GOAL REACHED
*Tone and build muscle ---GOAL REACHED
* Eat nutritionally balanced and cut out refined sugar from my diet --STILL WORKING ON IT!
* Be consistent!!! --STILL WORKING ON IT!
* Wear shorts and be comfortable in them by June 2009 -- GOAL REACHED
* Wear a Bikini (and look good in it! lol) in 2009 --- SOMEWHAT REACHED!
* Learn to swim --- NOT YET!
* Take tennis lessons -- NOT YET!

My Program:
* I try not to eat after 7pm
* cardio: 3-4 days/week (www.bodybydenise.com)
* strength: 3 days/week
