Hello Friends! Thanks for stopping by my page. In November of 2009, I hit ONEderland, a.k.a 199 lbs. What a GREAT feeling it was! I bought size 16 jeans and felt like a diva! Yes, a size 16 made me feel like a diva! Well, in those 9 years, I have lost and gained the same 35 lbs or so a few different times. So here I am.... again...back at it! (Spring 2018) You're only unsuccessful if you quit for good, right? I have lost about 33 lbs since last summer (2017) and have been doing low carb and intermittent fasting on most days (which means narrowing the window of time in which i eat during the day). At the end of March, I went from low carb to Keto, and am tracking my carbs fairly faithfully. I hit ONEderland again for the first time in 9 years, so I am pumped about that. I tend to do Spark People in spurts, depending on the amount of time I have. I do love this site. Blessings to you all! Keep fighting for your health!

My Goals:
I want to look and feel better. I want to be healthier. I'd like to put on a pair of jeans and look good in them again (a size 10 or 12 would be great!)

My Program:
I am doing the Keto diet as of March 2018, after switching from Low carb.

Personal Information:
I live in north Florida in a rural, agricultural community. I teach second grade and have been teaching for about 20 years. I am married and have 2 grown children (29 and 31). I have four beautiful grandchildren!

Other Information:
I use my iPhone to listen to audio books and music as I exercise! I use my phone to track my food, weight, and exercise via the Spark People App! It makes a great stop watch, too!
