Like some members of SparkPeople, I am a returning user. I know the drill and I know it works. Further on down this page is my testimony... 22 inches is a great loss, only if it stays off, right? I hope you will follow my journey as I make my second attempt at a life change.

MY ADVICE: Stay positive and try your best. Never look back with regret about anything... keep looking to your goals.

lost 26 pounds and 22 1/4 inches- it has to be the running!

I am still a 44 year old single mom. I have made wonderful changes in the last 9 months while on SparkPeople. Now I do alot for myself and for my family. I make the time to make a difference in my life. I have lost 26 pounds and 14 1/2 inches. All with diet and exercise. I am registered for the 5K and I am training to be a runner.

NEW MEMBER: July 2008
Hi, I am a 44 year old single mom. I do alot for my family, but little for myself. My goal is to start doing good things for myself. Another one of my goals is to be able to participate in a 5K run next summer.

I started out very slowly learning the Spark website, and walking, and spent alot of time reading articles and label reading in the grocery store.
