Man, life is a crazy crazy road! I can't tell you how long I've been on this site (maybe since 08?) and how often I've changed my profile but I am glad you came around to read it!

I was pretty consistently at 170 when I started (thought I was fat then...ha!). I got up to 230 while with a boyfriend a while back and had no clue how much my weight crept up there till we decided to split up. I fairly quickly got down to 215 but struggled to get to Onederland. I finally got there last Aug (2017). I was so pumped! But life was absolutely absurd last year. I moved to my sisters for 6 months, met a guy, he caused a TON of drama in my life...this caused me to 1. have portion control due to sister being healthy and cooking my dinners and 2. not eat a lot due to stress because of that guy. So, by getting to 199, it wasn't really something I intended or worked at. I have to say tho, I was much more active than previously because she has a dog that I loved taking for walks! Anyway, I moved again as I bought a house in Aug/Sept. and between moving, organizing, learning the new territory and starting a new job that involves a lot more sitting, I shot up to 240 by Feb 2018. I was depressed. It was hard to breath. Hard to move. I slept terribly. I had no clue how I'd ever meet anyone again while looking the way I did.

Lent is what changed my life. I committed to working out 5-7 days a week, I gave up fast food, and focused on portion control. And don't ask me why, but if I do something for Lent, I am 100% committed! Since Feb 14 (Currently March 27, 2018), I have lost 12.4lbs and I plan on keep going till I get back to Onederland. Last summer I felt amazing! My clothes fit! And then I'll keep going!

I currently track all my food and workouts using MyFitnessPal. But this has been the longest running streak for any "diet" I've ever done. This is it. This is my life. And during that 6 weeks it all finally clicked for me. It's the weirdest feeling to explain because it's not even close to being a chore for me anymore. This is fun! I honestly feel like I've changed for the better and I know I'm going to stick with this forever. Sounds strange and like something I'd have rolled my eyes at in the past but I'm not sure how else to explain it. I guess its similar to the feeling of falling in love. You just know when you're in love and you don't want to look back! And boy, am I in love!!

My Goals:
Reach 199 by July 2018.

My Program:
I aim for 1200 calories but focus on my Macros. Protein 70-90g, Carbs under 100, and Fat I haven't worked on yet but around 40g usually. Salads for lunch daily, protein shakes after work outs, hard boiled eggs for breakfast. I eat a lot of the same stuff on a daily basis, but since my focus is mostly protein (found out during this process I didn't eat nearly enough...about 13g a day!), it works for me now. As I progress, I branch off a little more and more but I always track my food before I go to any restaurant so I know what I'm eating exactly.
