Well went to Kettlebell world championship in 2017 qualified for my second year in a row. I achieved a 6th place in open class and a silver and gold in the veterans class. (in Kettlebells veterans are considered 35 and older) I am still teaching 6 classes a week and growing the interest in the tool and was as the sport. I don't have as many competitions planned for 2018 and that's fine for this season, the body needs a break once in a while to continue to grow. I am always working for improvements and hope to achieve some new goals. I encourage anyone to make fitness a priority in their lives and see where it takes them. This year the gym I work at is moving to a new facility and I'm getting my own space for Kettlebells, who knew this would lead to so much in my life. You can be an athlete at any age.

My Goals:
I want to continue to go down in weight, only 6 to go before my first goal and then a few more after that. I'm looking foward to a healthy summer and active one. I will learn how to maintain and keep the weight off and not coming back. This is a long process but I'll get there.
Nothing changes if nothing changes.

My Program:
I am a Kettlebell instructor at my home town gym and it's constantly growing. I train kettlebell sport and train others for sport as well. Right now Life is good.

Personal Information:

Other Information:
I drag race as a hobby and enjoy working and restoring classic cars. We also show our cars. I''m a gear head at heart, but an accountant in real life. LOL

Sorry been concentrating more on facebook and motivating folks to start their fitness for 2018. Hope all is well. I'm still very much into Kettlebells as I teach 5 classes a week and train people for sport as well as train myself. Hope all is well.

Also you are welcome to join the 2017 Workouts completed for Kettlebell challenges. I have people use all the moves they do with a Kettlebell to get their numbers.

If you decide to move up I'd suggest going with www.kettlebellsusa.com and go with their competition series, it makes going up a lot easier once you get stronger. They have a 6kg bell which I know you would need to work up to, but it makes learning the moves a lot more efficient. Too bad you don't live in MI I'd have you come to some of my classes.

Thank you for adding me as a friend; I have done like wise.

Yes, the kettlebell is an awesome tool. I don't own one but do own the TRX straps.
I am hoping that as I get stronger that I will have heavier weights. Right now I only have 3 and 5 pounders. But I downsized last year from a single family home to a condo but I still have room to do my exercises.

Thank you once again for adding me. I do appreciate it. emoticon emoticon emoticon
