    You're welcome for the smoothie recipe. I hope you like it. Really, just put whatever fruit and veggies taste good to you in it. I used to make them without the banana and I added ginger to it. I think it was healthier that way, but I had a hard time choking them down. I removed the ginger which is not to my taste and added banana for more sweetness and now I actually enjoy having my daily smoothie!

    My breakfast smoothie recipe is not exact. I change it up depending on what I have on hand. But most of the time it consists of the following:

    1 bag of read-to-eat spinach (about 10 oz)
    1 container of coconut water (16 oz Vita Coco or something similar)
    1 large English/Hothouse cucumber (the big ones that come individually wrapped, or something similar - I prefer those because they don't have the waxy layer that regular store-bought cucumbers have)
    3 stalks celery
    1 banana
    1 apple (sweeter rather than tart - Gala or Fuji work well - Granny Smith makes the smoothie too tart)
    1 teaspoon Matcha powder
    1/2 teaspoon kelp powder
    1 heaping tablespoon ground flax seed
    Water

    I use a large (8 cup) blender. Blend it really well, adding enough water until it fills the blender. Then I divide it up into 6 containers, freeze half for later in the week, keep half in the fridge so I can have one each day. :-)
