I looked over my half marathon training plan this morning, and made sure to schedule all of my runs for this week. No skipping workouts or runs! Today's run. Pretty okay with it.Had a great Easter with my boyfriend and granddaughter. My boyfriend does this to me constantly after leg day. Yesterday was leg day. I'm soo sore. I'm glad he thinks he's so funny.... LOLMe today. Posted a photoIt's funny how I can get up at 2:45 am and be totally motivated to go to the gym... but at 5:30, I'm definitely NOT motivated for work. Here's to trying to get to that point, though. This made me chuckle this morning...BwahahahahaRan my first 10k this morning since I started my return to running races. I was thrilled that I won 1st place overall for women over 40!!
6.33 miles done in 56:47!! I was okay with that finish time, even though I was hoping for 55 min or less.

Bring it. My gym days this week... every day this week. Especially yesterday and today. Super excited to get off work soon! We get the granddaughter tonight!! Picking her up from day care when we get off. My workout was done first thing this morning, and we are already planning for a healthy dinner... so nothing major to do tonight - Just hang out with this little face! It will be my SEVENTH time seeing him in concert. My boyfriend, however, is more of a "metal man".. not a country fan. He's going with me because he's awesome. Skipped my workout this morning because I needed the extra sleep to be able to stay up later tonight. I'll make it up over the weekend. :)Boyfriend and I at the Luke Bryan concert Friday nightMy Dad and me. He's in a nursing home and not doing all that great, but he had a pretty okay day today when I went to visit him for Father's Day.Today was shoulders, and yes... the struggle IS real. Posted a photoI have a dilemma. My boyfriend's birthday is in 11 days and I have no idea what to get him. Besides the fact that I have little to no money to spent, he is very difficult to shop for. He's so good to me at every birthday and holiday, I can't let his birthday go by with nothing! I'm at a loss!So, this just happened. The "feels like" temp right now is 100 degrees, but I did it!! I needed some "me time" and a good sweat to work out some things in my head. Started off as a walk ... walked the first two miles... and then ran the downhills and flats for the last 3 miles. Felt pretty awesome, despite the heat, especially since I had ZERO knee pain!!
What a great way to kick off the weekend. Now, I am sitting on the porch hydrating and waiting for the boyfriend to get home from work.The first good day I have had in a while. Finally getting my nutrition back under control.
The stress eating stops now.Run/walk intervals in the neighborhood. Finally starting to run again feels good. Now I just have to keep it going.Worked chest and triceps this morning and followed it up with 3 easy miles on the treadmill. Not feeling awesome today, but I made it through the workout and am going to do my level best to make it through the work day. Happy Monday! If I can get up some energy (very little sleep last night), I plan to walk again at lunch. I've already hit 10,000 steps today, so everything else is just the proverbial icing on the cake.

Tuesday is my LONG day, and today I am doing it on day 3 of a migraine and only a few hours of sleep... but I am going to make it through it.
Up at 2:30, workout done (Back/Biceps and 2 treadmill miles)... Arrived at work at 5:15. Now, I have to work 9 hours and then go to class from 4:00 until 6:30 this evening.
By the time I get home, it will be bedtime. I'm glad my boyfriend is cooking!!

Up early again and working out at 2:20. Another day of having to be at work early. I did go to bed a little earlier last night, so not quite as tired today (so far)

I can make it to the gym every day and work out... no problem.
Eating right and prepping meals.. Not so much. My best day for steps since I got my FitBit is 19,018. My goal is to surpass that today.
Ignore the stairs thing. I don’t know if the altimeter in my Fitbit is messed up or what... but I definitely did not climb that many flights. Does anyone know of a fix for this?Me today. I'm going through some stuff, and the gym was my therapy this morning.

Great workout - and I do feel a little better.
The problems are still there, but the gym made me feel in control and, let's face it, pretty badass.
Happy Monday! Leg day! Brutal Legs workout followed by 12 minutes of walking. Cut the workout shorter than I wanted to because I had to be at work early.... but I'm pretty okay with it. I'm going to feel that one tomorrow.
I see an Epsom Salt bath in my future this evening.

Last night we went to the Lantern Light Walk at the Ocmulgee National Monument Park. We walked to the top of the Great Temple Mound for a view of downtown Macon at night and a fun evening out together.In case you were wondering.....Awesome workout this morning... and it was much needed. Really have had a lot on my mind and a good workout usually helps me to clear my head to think clearly.
Chest, Abs and Cardio this morning. Almost 2 hours in the gym to get my mind right. This is how I felt this morning. Managed to drink it, but it wasn't easy! LOL
Arms/Abs this morning, plus ran 3.14 miles in 30 minutes.
2 more workout days this week and then I rest on Sunday! It will be much needed this week, since I have pushed the workouts pretty hard. Happy Friday!!
I got my membership issues taken care of yesterday and my 24-hour access card worked at the gym today.
Awesome workout, and now I am ready to make this a great day! Finally got a computer at work, and able to get on SP for a little while every morning, but my new job keeps me very busy... much busier than the old one...
Plus, now I share a 4-person cube as opposed to the previous job's one person office....
So posting isn't as easy. But I am trying to keep up with it as best I can
This morning, I worked Chest, Shoulders and Abs and did 30 minutes of HIIT sprints on the treadmill. (1 min at 7.2mph, 1 min at 6mph).
Great workout. My boyfriend and me over the weekend when we took a break from a long ride. All of the bikes lined up outside the restaurant where we had lunch on Saturday. It was a great day!Had an awesome shoulder workout this morning, and then a run on the treadmill. And then a second workout trying to fight my way out of the sports bra with dead shoulders to get in the shower. Happy Flex Friday!!
