Another blustery day but we are all trying to take it in our stride. Our office building even had a major leak on Monday. My colleague had a piece of ceiling fall on him as he went through the doorway. No casualty except that his coffee was ruined. :(
It is going to be a busy busy week for me. Attending a two day course on Performance Coaching and a professional meeting tomorrow night on Alzheimer's -on recognizing the symptoms and knowing if your family is at risk. It should be very interesting. An MD who is developing a program is presenting the session. I have a copy of Away from Her with Julie Christie that I won't have time to see before the meeting but will view on the weekend. Also, I saw a great movie on the weekend called SnowCake with Sigourney Weaver and Alan Rickman. It was set in Wawa, Ontario. It is a very interesting portrayal of an autistic woman. I thought it was excellent. A sad beginning but the movie picks up after that. I gave my DH a blast because I didn't expect it to be sad at the start. So I am giving warning if anyone watches it. I like to be prepared (i.e. a kleenex box nearby).
Fitness isn't getting too far these days however I am being good at logging food. Today I had moroccan food and can't find anything close to that in the food database. If anyone knows an easy way to enter ethnic food let me know. It was very good and I don't think it was too calorie heavy. It was salad and three phyllo pastries - one meat, one cheese and ? the other. The mint tea was awesome! No calorie there - except I did put in a sugar cube. I rarely take sugar in drinks but it did enhance the mint. I am going to make everyone hungry now - so I better close. I have to get packing ... literally. Have a great week everyone. I will check in on the weekend. I just love SPARK. I even have a bright red SPARK tshirt that I got from DH for Valentine's Day. How sweet is that?

    Hmmm...how to log moroccan food. I use a book called Food Counts and write the counts down of the big stuff on a pad by the stove. I don't log on the Nutrition Tracker on SP cuz I have dialup and it take too long.

    How to estimate your dinner? Hmmmm...Salad (it's the dressing that will add up, if you had any). As for the entree....I'd estimate the meat, cheese....and put 3 pastries in the count. Phyllo pastries are in my Count book...'mini' ones are about 50 calories...but I'm guessing yours werent mini. *g* I'd probably put the counts in for 3 TURNOVERS and call it good.

    It's done...tomorrow is another day!

    Have you tried Crystal Light for flavoring water? I use it....
