Okay, here goes.... this is me starting over. Today. Yes, on a Tuesday! There is no rule that says "healthy eating plans" need to start on a Monday, right? But yet, so many do!
Let's see... Mondays are usually the most disliked day of the week. It's back to work, back to school, it's the end of the weekend, it's meeting night... now, why on EARTH would we torture ourselves by deciding, "Hey! I'm going to totally overhaul what I eat today!"
Please! Mondays are stressful enough without taking chocolate out of the mix!
That's why I picked today to start over (well, that, and the fact that yesterday was Memorial Day and there was no way I was starting over then!). I can do this, even though it's a Tuesday.
So, what does "starting over" mean to me? It means I'm going to update my tracker to once again show my current weight and where I decided I should be. It means getting back to tracking everything that I eat. It means sticking to about 1500 calories. It means being physically active a LOT more than I am right now. It means posting to my blog. It means that I'm considering making my food tracker public (now THAT is a scary thought!).
It also means that I need to be held accountable. So please, feel free to keep me on track! It also means, of course, taking responsibility for myself, because in the end, it's all up to me. But I do much better with a cheering squad! :)
Why not make Tuesday YOUR day to start over?
