Yes! I did it!

After a lousy couple weeks, and lousy last couple days, it was nice to see 175.2 on the scale. Pretty much right on plan, and a bit of a loss from last week.
Today I'm going to take the kids to a community sports expo at 10am. We can preregister for the kids' sports classes for the fall which won't open for registration until the 4th. We have a very large population in my town (and very family heavy!) and if you don't sign up for things early, you get locked out. So I'll be there with my checkbook first thing to get my son the dates and times I want for soccer lessons. I always send my swim registration in on the first date it's allowed to be post-marked. And so far I've always gotten my first choice. I didn't manage to get him into the sports program I wanted for the spring since I didn't know about it. I tried to sign up on the 3rd day of registration. I was the first wait-listed. I went in person on the first day to see if anyone didn't show up... no such luck. So I'll be there today no matter what!
Well, I was true to my word yesterday. I exercised twice to make up for not doing it the last couple days. I did 45 mins in the morning on the treadmill. Then in the evening I did 51 mins again, and then did my full routines for abs and then arms. Not bad.
I've been good with my food for the last 5 days. So I think I'm getting it back on track. We'll see. Next week and the week after are going to be spent in a hotel again. So hopefully I can continue to eat well.
I was putting on my exercise bra last night (the Enell - with a million little hooks in the front.) and when I looked up in the mirror I saw distinct shoulders and triceps/biceps. Cool! I'm getting good arms! I can't wait to see what they look like in another 15 lbs, 20 lbs, and then finally 30 lbs. I really like what my shoulders are looking like right now.
My sister is going to be in town today. She's a flight attendant and has a San Diego layover today. After the sports expo we'll drive down to San Diego and hang out in various parts of Balboa Park. My sister is one of my favorite people in the world, so it's great when she comes to town and has layovers that lend themselves to getting together. She's a fabulous aunt too. She doesn't have any kids of her own and she aboslutely loves David and Beth.
