Slow progress is still progress!

Progress has been slow, both in my recovery and my weight, but today I saw an improvement in both!
Today in the gym we did ball exercises. I sat on the ball, and was able to lift one foot off the floor without falling, or even feeling like I was going to fall.
That's HUGE progress! I am also looking less like I'm drunk, and my cane sits by the side of my desk for longer periods of time.
My weight is also falling again. Yes, it's slow. Just half a pound last week, but it's in the right direction.
This works! It takes focus and patience. I have learned so much from this journey, and know that I will finish in my goal.
