It's Called "Full"

Hey all! I was nibbling away at the salad I prepared today for lunch. Nothing spectacular, just your basic lettuce, tomatoes, grilled chicken. Between bites I was checking email and reviewing a document. I lingered longer on a particular paragraph and was about to pick up the fork when I realized that I WA S FULL!
It too me a minute to say to myself that I don't have to eat it all! Even if it is only salad. Gee - all these new thoughts (that are old lessons from years of dieting.)
1. Eat slowly so that full thing can really register.
2. Dishwashers will clean the plates so you don't have to!
3. Don't worry, food will be there if you're hungry again.
Sounds simple? We all know it, right? Well then why the heck does it take so long for me to get it - or so many tries - or the refresher courses that usually come along after yo-yoing another 10 pounds.
Well I'll work on those questions another time. Today, I will just say people, I am full! And I'm feelin' it!
